What's New at the Writer's Room?

June 18th, 2006: Linda Young moved her wonderful WENN site to it's own domain, Rememberwenn.org. I updated all links to her site.

June 12th, 2006: "Why Emma, where the hell have you been?"

Heavily involved in other fandoms, mainly the sitcom Perfect Strangers, The Monkees, and The Beatles. I still am, but with the re-launch of my personal site The Riverside Rest (formerly Emma's Home Town at GeoCities), my move from the busy New Jersey Shore to a small town about ten minutes from Philadelphia, and the loss of mine and my friend Lauren's PS site, I decided it was time to finally update this site, before I lost it, too. I worked too hard on this site and have too many wonderful stories and memories here to let it disappear.

You'll notice a few basic changes. The Operation Save WENN page was taken down, and the links were weeded and thinned. The Riverside Rest was added to the index as my personal site. Emma's Home Town still exists, but will no longer be updated. The "Theme of the Month" is being dropped from the Fanfiction Library. I will be adding more fanfics to the Library as time permits (and as I can get these people's addresses and apologize for being so lax).

I'm going to say outright that I won't be updating this site nearly as much in college. I'm a 27-year-old working woman now, trying to make ends meet and get my stories, fanfics and otherwise, noticed in a crowded market. I do still love WENN (still have all my tapes), but I don't have as much time for anything as I used to. I will update it more often than I have, though.

By the way, I was looking over my Episode Guide pages, and I realized it's been ten years since that first early-morning viewing of "The Emperor Smith." Ten years. God, has it really been that long?
