THE FORD ASPIRE PROBLEM

The Ford Aspire was sold as an economy car, but Ford charges exorbitant prices for parts. Most people say "go elsewhere!" but it's pretty tough to go elsewhere when Ford controls the distribution. The Aspire is sold as the KIA Avella overseas, and the parts come from Korea. I had more than one parts dealer tell me that the distributor was a $300.00 part, but he couldn't get it because there was such a shortage. Ford doesn't release them to outside parts dealers. Sounds like an anti-trust problem to me!
