Scriptures Concerning Children

IS 54:13-17
And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children. In righteousness shalt thou be established. Thou shalt be far from oppression for thou shalt not fear: and from terror for it shall not come near thee. Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an intrument for his work; and I have created the waster that destroys. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

PS 103:13
Like as a father pitieth his children so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

PS 127:3-5
Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord: and the frut of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a might man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

PS 144:11-13
Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood: that our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace: that our garners may be full, affording all manner of store

PR 13:24
He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

PR 14:26
In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence; and his children shall have a place of refuge.

PR 19:18
Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.

PR 20:11
Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.

PR 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he shall not depart from it.

These are under the curse of the law that Christ has redeemed us from:our sons and daughters being given to other people and no one helping us to get them back. Looking with longing for them.
