"Success, as we measure it, is striving to be the best we possibly can, every day, every practice, and every performance. The only band we want to beat is our own performance of yesterday. Being your best is a measurement of success that can be achieved by everyone."

Band History

-1997 Season:
Despite the many nerve wracking changes of the CMBC Championships due to incliment weather, we achieved our best score ever of 80.3! The seasons theme was a Spanish one and included the songs "Estancia", "Birdland", "Drum Solo97" and "You Must Love Me/Don't Cry For Me Argentina (from the movie Evita). The drum majors were: Mike Benjamin, Lena Farally, Kelly Hanafy and Harran Williams. This year was the first year the Golden Regiment marched in the Miss America Day Parade in Atlantic City, NJ.

-1996 Season:
Drum Majors Troy Fisher, Nicole Goodwin, Jen Christopolos and Janine Dunlap. The show was a Earth Wind and Fire theme with the hits "What is Hip" "In the Stone" and "After the Love has Gone/Fantasy".

-1995 Season:
A turning point for the Golden Regiment. The bands first ever first place was achieved at the BCHS Blue Devils Competition. Drum majors Melissa Munyon and Troy Fisher conducted hits from "Tower of Power" and "Earth, Wind and Fire". Songs like: "Land of Make Believe" "Chamelon" "Break Drum Break" "So very hard to Go" and "What is Hip" created a different, but good show for the Golden Regiment.
