HARDCORE CROQUET'S first ever tournament was a small affair, but we saw great action at the Frazier Fairgrounds! The Wizard of Wickets pulls out the first tournament victory in HARDCORE history. He defeats his nemisis, The Marquis of Mallets and a tough rookie Queen Achilles of Croquet (named for her unorthodox barefooted croquet-ing) Here are the final results:
Champion------The Wizard of Wickets, 14 points Second ---------Queen Achilles of Croquet, 11 points Third------------The Marquis of Mallets, 11 points (final Game not completed, thus the 3rd place finish.)
CROQUECITO II August 3, 2000-Frazier Fairgrounds
HARDCORE CROQUET'S second tournament was as HARDCORE AS IT GETS! Played in 2 hours 45 minutes, in the dark, through a driving rain, AND thunderstorm. The Marquis of Mallets gets back on track, finishing 1st in 4 of the 6 Games, winning impressively. The Wizzard of Wickets finishes second, with a decent effort, and Queen Achilles of Croquet finished strong, winning the final Game. Here are the final results:
