Direction to Ocean City Area Sailing Spots

You are likely to enter Ocean City either on 9th st or 34th st.

From 9th St Exit 30 on the Garden State Parkway

When you get off the Parkway (mind the 25mph speedlimit!!!) and continue t the first light. Continue through the intersection to the circle, about 1/8 mile. Go through the circle 180° past the Circle Liquor Store, and into Ocean City. Once in Ocean City go through 2 Lights to West Ave. This is a good corridor to the island. Again keep an eye on your speed. From here you can hit the northend beaches by going left; North st (1 up from first st)Surf RD (further up along the beach road (AtlantiC Ave). Or turn right and head south to 23rd st, 41st, 59th and Corsons Inlet.

From the North End

At the north end of the island there is another bridge, it connects to Longport and Somers Point. It is also the location of a street maze called "The Gardens", best to stay on Atlantic ave until your bearings are ok.

Surf road and Atlantic is good on NW days and also a good spot to start a down winder if the waves are over 10ft. As you head south on Atlantic toward North ST. There are a couple of other beaches that develop good breaks.
