[sky] the starless black sky envelopes my body silence slowly grows, shattering my heart. the sharp pieces rip every inch of my cold flesh until i am gone. [little girl] gas gauge on e so easily bruised she doesn't let herself cry as her life unravels. shivering at the edge of the universe she smiles and wishes on a star. [bruised] i pretend and smile but i can't shake you. your skin, mouth, eyes haunt me. i want to scream, runaway, to escape how ugly i feel. do you care that i am black and blue, so easily bruisable?
