All who ever met Barry saw him as a classy and nice person and who played a heel manager in a kid-friendly promotion like it ought to be played...the old-fashioned way to get the right reaction. The most decorated battleship in naval history, the USS New Jersey earned a Navy Unit Commendation for service in Vietnam and 19 battle and campaign stars for combat operations during World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Lebanese Civil War, and service in the Persian Gulf. She was donated to the Home Port Alliance in Camden, New Jersey, and in October of 2001 began her career as a museum ship. This wrestling event, entitled "Bedlam on the Battleship," will be a fund raiser for the Battleship New Jersey Museum. Doors will open to the public for seating at 2 p.m. The JWA World Title will be on the line when champion Rick Silver defends against longtime rival and Commissioner of AWESOME Joe Rules. No strangers to the squared circle, Joe Rules and Rick Silver have been going at each other for nearly twenty years. Silver has held the gold since 2007 and is also a former UWF World Champion. Rules was the first-ever JAPW Heavyweight Champion as well as a two-time UWC Heavyweight Champion; but he has never held a title belt in JWA-United Wrestling. Joe Rules has gone so far as to state that if he does not defeat Rick Silver for the championship on July 11, he will hang up the tights once and for all. The first ever American Champion will be crowned as Dan Rageous goes one on one with Brian Mitchell Foster. By defeating the team of The "Maniacal" Hubie Volk & The "Indian Warrior" Draven in a tag team bout, Jersey Shore Cruiser Weight Champion Dan Rageous and Brian Mitchell Foster earned the right to face each other to fill the vacant title. Rageous and BMF now have the opportunity to make history on The Battleship New Jersey. Taylor Nicole Rules will defend the JWA-United Women's Title against Kacee Carlisle. Taylor Nicole is not only the JWA-United Women's Champion but also the Jersey Shore Women's Champion and has had successful title defenses against the likes of Roxie Cotton, Chrissy Johnson, and Athena Cage. Her toughest challenge to date takes place July 11 in Camden, NJ when she puts the title on the line against Kacee Carlisle. Today, we start the official journey on The Reconstruction of The Dangerous Women of Wrestling. We have a lot of work ahead of us gang, and we've already started! Every D.W.O.W. show, appearance, event, etc... we will archive it all and present it on the web. For once you will see EVERY show, and be able to experience it as if it were happening. This Monday 05.04.09 we will release the first show "The Conception" from 09.10.99 in Allentown, PA. We know some of you may have purchased the download or the DVD "The Vintage Series", but we can tell you that there are UNRELEASED matches and footage not shown on the original releases, plus we are editing and remastering the footage to try and lighten up the original dark video. We will try and update you daily with some kind of information or tidbit on anything surrounding D.W.O.W., and expect at least one new show addition every week. We know there were promises, or predictions in the past, but we can't do anything about that today. All we can offer you is starting today, you will see a new Dangerous Women of Wrestling, one talent, one match, one show, and one fan at a time. We will strive to give you the ultimate in CUSTOMER SERVICE, something that in the past D.W.O.W. did not do well for whatever reason.
