As near as I can guess, this is a 6 inch increase in wheelbase from 108" to 114".

From below the belt line, just move the wheelwell back and fill in the space.

Cut out 8 inches. Then the roof line was all off, so the easiest is to make it a convertible. Or, do a roof like a C3 Corvette.

The original thought here was just to post a graphic. I thought it would be easier to post it than to send it as an attachment. Funny how you can get carried away sometimes. Anyway, here are three different looks from the same graphic. It may end up as a page on the club site. Hey, April 1st is not too far away. So what do you think of the different looks?

  • The 108" Wheelbase - Stock wheelbase, no changes.
  • The 114" Wheelbase - An increase of 6 inches to 114" wheelbase.
  • The Long Wheelbase - Just by moving the wheel well back, from below the belt line.
  • The Short Wheelbase - The roof line is way off. An easy way out is to do it as a convertible, or change the roof to a C3 Vette style.
