She is my li'l cousin Kristy. She was 4 1/2 yrs. old and fought a good fight against the monster we call-Cancer, Leukemia to be more specific. She was the light in all of our lives, even at her sickest she still smiled her angel-smile. 

Everyone was touched by her and we don't understand why she had to get sick. But the Lord answered in taking her home and taking away her pain. 

We were only supposed to have Kristy on this Earth for less than a year. When she was diagnosed with leukemia at 3 months old, the doctors said she wouldn't survive. But Kristy, miraculously beat the odds. The Children's Hospital of Philadelpia, dubbed her their "miracle baby" 
 
 

 

She went into remission with the help of chemo for 4 yrs. She was off treatment for 2 whole years, she got to be a normal little girl and do normal little girl things. Her family-mother, father and big brother, Matthew now 9 yrs. old. got to go to Disney World through the Make-A-Wish foundation. You should have seen the joy on her face and the stories she had to tell!!!
