Before I begin, let me say two things. First off, this guide is meant for suggestive purposes only. I did not intend this to be the staple to generating a cleric within Gemstone III®, nor is any of the information backed officially by Simutronics®. Personally I believe that you must live with your mistakes, and then, if you understand the process, possibly reroll your character, or prove that stats aren't what makes the character, it's the heart with which she was made.
Secondly, always keep in mind: Just because you are a cleric _does not_ mean you have to be "good". I've known many a cleric to tell the body-to-be-raised that they are in good hands whilst in guild speak proclaim that a little bit of that person's soul was being given to Sheru or Luukos, any god that they desired. This is, in my opinion, great roleplaying. If it adds depth to your character, I say go for it! If it gets you in trouble with other characters, hey, that's life, and life's what you make of it.
So go forth now and read what I have to say about being a cleric. Perhaps you'll find it interesting, perhaps you'll think it a bunch of bull, but it's what I live and succeed by and I only wish to impart what wisdom I've gained in my time in Elanthia unto others, new to the lands or who've been around a long time but seen things through different eyes.
