January Another Cold Ithaca Winter The sun has set and freezing winds whip a mist layer of snow and ice from atop frozen fields and parkinglots. It's an infurating sharp-cold that comes up off the waters of Cayuga like a ghost of unrest, with a banshee scream and teeth that clamp down on your hands and face. This shot was actually taken by my good friend Logan, which she gave to me, It represents exactly what it feels like to be trapped up in these rooms durring these long winters. Everyone is just locked up, escaping the cold and doing anything to fight cabin fever, like Steven King's "The Shining," on epic levels. Anyway it goes, it's an amazing picture.
