Sept. Monthly Band Feature: Sunny Day Real Estate
Tag's Musical Note
How can you go wrong with a band that puts Weeble People in tragic real life situations? You can't. Imagine a punk band from Washington that sounds more like an emo band from the English Isles.
Pick up any of their four albums. The sound is going to be something that you wouldn't expect, but you won't be dissapointed.
FALL IS NEW ALBUMS
If it seems like every rock act out there is trying to get an album out before the end of the year, you're not imagining things. It's time for the pre-holiday record push. You know what that means don't you? Time to save paychecks and load up on new tunes.

I reccommend that you pick up the soon to be released discs from Green Day, Sprung Monkey, Blink182 (live), Maraliyn Manson, and Sunny Day Real Estate.

I reccommend that you avoid the new Christina Agulara, and Limp Bisket discs. I don't think that I can stress that enough.
Anyway you cut it, it's time to buy stock in earplugs and crank some righteous rhythem until the old ladies on the block just can't take it anymore.

Limp Bisket sucks. They really, really, really, really, suck.
Much respect goes out to a band that not only shells out for free CD's for their fan club, but goes out of it's way to give that fan club what it wants on a consistant basis. Pearl Jam is satiating their fanbase's lust for their live act by releasing a series of 25 double-disk bootlegs from their European tour.

Previous to this major release, Pearl Jam has released live tracks as B-sides and on their album "Live on Two Legs." If you've never had the opportunity to hear Pearl Jam live, you'll be blown away by their sheer intensity.

Here are the details kids, beginning September 5th, you can purchase the European live Peal Jam bootlegs from the Ten Club at http://www.pearljam.com. Each concert was recorded digitally and will be released as a two CD set including original artwork for each show.
