The Family Tree

This is our genealogy beginning with the earliest ancestor on the maternal side of our family beginning with Marie-Louise St. Pierre-Levesque. Not much information is available at present on Marie-Louise's husband, Alphonse's lineage. That information will be included as it becomes available. But for now, we do have a great deal of information on the Levesque and Lemieux lines. This information dates back to 17th century France. It reveals that both maternal and paternal lineages lived in the Normandy region of northern France, and that they both moved into central to south-central portion of Quebec, Canada. From there, our ancestors immigrated to the northern New Hampshire area of the United States. Below are maps depicting the region and cities where our ancestors lived in France, as well as the area in Quebec where they relocated.
