| My husband was born 11/10/65 in Boston. He was adopted through Children's Friend and Service in Providence. The birth mother was born in RI, but was sent to a maternity home because she was not married. The maternal grandmother committed suicide in 1963. The maternal grandfather owned a jewelry business. Birth mother was attending a business school, where she was pursuing a secretarial carer at the time. According to the non-id report, the birth mother had another child, a boy in 1967 and gave him up for adoption through Children's Friend and Service, then 1n 1968 she had a girl, also given up for adoption through Children's Friend and service. The brother and sister are reportedly my husband's half siblings, but these younger 2 siblings apparently had the same father-just not the same father as my husband. So the younger 2 are full siblings. Also, birth mother suffered from petit mal seizures as a child-sometimes up to 30 a day. Birth mother was an only child who was born 15 years into her parents marriage. She was of German/English/Spanish descent. Half-brother's adoptive family contacted the agency for non-id info on 5/8/81, while the half sister contacted the agency herself on 12/16/86. |
