White Mountain Vacation Rentals

Set in New Hampshire's White Mountains, Pembrook offers two four-season facilities for groups sized 2-20. Ideal for your weekend or vacation getaway. Pembrook is located in a wooded setting with a babbling brook. Just a short walk over a wooded path takes you to the Pemigewasset River for swimming and canoeing in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter.

Swim and canoe in the Pemigewasset River, Mirror Lake, Russell Pond or Echo Lake. Bike scenic river valleys. Hike 4000' mountains or enjoy lower scenic overlooks. Cross-country ski on backwoods trails or at the outstanding touring centers of Waterville Valley and Bretton Woods Resorts. Downhill ski, telemark, or snowboard at Waterville and Bretton Woods as well as Cannon Mountain and Loon Mountain Resort (just 5 miles away).

Guided Outdoor Adventures

Over the past ten years Kathy Didier has led hundreds of Outdoor Adventure trips in the White Mountain National Forest as well as various locales across North America and throughout the world. Her goal is to lead well organized, economical, safe adventure trips to locations of interest. Of special interest to Kathy is planning and leading trips for physically active adults over the age of 50. Emphasis is on taking in the beauty and culture of an area rather than "bagging peaks." Kathy is a trip leader for the Appalachian Mountain Club. References are provided upon request.
