Elm Brook State Park at the Hopkinton-Everett Reservoir

 

Take Exit 6 off of Route I89 in NH on to Route 127 South

Look for signs on the left for Elm Brook Park.

 

Inside the park follow the RV parking signs, go through the RV lot and take the dirt road to the right at the end.  You’ll see the dam on your right and the flying site ahead and to the left.

 

For the best directions from your location (along with reliable travel time estimates) go online to www.mapquest.com and enter your starting location and “Elm Brook Rd, Hopkinton NH” as the destination.  Mapquest will ask for clarification on the destination address and offer several alternatives.  Select the one with “[147-199]” in it.

(All classes fly both days)

 

 

Free Style

 

A 3 minute Free Style competition will follow the main contest and is open to all pilots with IMAC qualified airplanes.

Sound system available – Bring your music!

   Unknown Sequences Distributed

 

   Informal Optional gathering at Margaritas for dinner on Saturday night

 

Day2:

   Round 3 Knowns

   Round 2 Free Style

   Round 1 Unknowns

 

   Award Ceremony

 

 

 

Restrictions

 

  1. All aircraft will be safety inspected – the same check list used by the IMAA
  2. No flying before the contest

 

 

 

Lunch

 

A food concession stand selling snacks and lunch will be available on both days

 

A group Photo will be taken right after the Lunchtime break on Saturday.

 

 

 

Landing Fee

 

$30.  AMA card required.

$25 with IMAC membership card (or if you join IMAC at registration)

Note: $1 of landing fee goes towards purchase of IMAC District I trophies

 

 

 

Trophies

 

Trophies will be awarded for 1st through 3rd place finishers in Basic, Sportsman, Advanced, Unlimited, and Free Style.

 

Best overall will also be awarded to the pilot who scores the best during the Known and Unknown part of the competition.
