al Ripken Jr is, who I consider one of the BEST baseball players of all time. He has the ability and stamina to play in 2,632 consecutive games. He has the POWER to hit at least 13 HOME RUNS every year since his rookie year, including a career high of 34 in 1991. He was ROOKIE OF THE YEAR in 1982 , and AL MVP in 1983 and 1991. He surpassed Lou Gehrig’s long held consecutive games record with 2,131 on September 6, 1995 before an almost sold-out audience. They said he was the man who "Saved Baseball". His legacy will continue to exist long after he retires, he is a true HERO.
