The Warriors
in:
Double Dragons

It was a rather boring Saturday in the town of Newport. At least it was until yet another creature from the Negaverse breezed into town and upset the normally quiet lives of the citizens. From the fog of early morning came Warriors Mars, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Draco, Neptune, and Pegasus.
“It’s too early for this,” Warrior Neptune said before he yawned, “can we kill this thing so I can go back to bed?”
“It’s ten in the morning,” Warrior Venus said, “and it promises to be a busy day.”
The creature, which could fly, took that moment to dive upon the group, sending them to the ground in a loud clatter of armor. Warrior Pegasus regained her feet, dusted herself off, produced her spear, and attacked.
     “Horn Dart!”
The horn at the end of her spear glowed golden before several energy darts fired from it. The monster dodged easily before releasing a screech that made them drop to their knees while holding their ears. All around them glass shattered, dogs howled, and things exploded. The monster circled over as it screeched, giving its awful sound a very wide range.
“We need to put that things voice out of commission,” Warrior Mercury shouted at the top of his lungs.
“I’ll try to take it out or shut it up,” Warrior Mars said, a sea of flames forming around him, “Mars Napalm Bolo Engulf!”
Discus of flame emerged from the sea, each one spinning to form bolos. The fiery bolos sailed through the air, one wrapping around the creature’s left leg and burning its way through. A second later the shrieking increased in pitch and frequency as the beast shrieked in pain.
“Frag,” Warrior Draco said as a brown sphere formed in his hand, “This time he’s gonna get it. Nitro Bubbles Blast!”
Warrior Draco pitched the sphere at the beast, the sphere splitting into many red brown bubbles as it sailed higher and higher. The creature flapped its wings, sending the bubbles back towards the ground. As the bubbles touched down the exploded, destroying everything in a one foot radius from the blast.
“Well, we might be licked,” Warrior Jupiter said as an antenna extended from his gauntlet, electricity sparking around it.
“Double team?” Warrior Mercury asked, a 3 tier guitar forming in his hands. He took a pick from his left gauntlet and played a couple of riffs, which got the creature’s attention because it stopped shrieking and began to circle at incredible speeds, a twister forming.
“Might as well,” Jupiter said as a thunderbolt struck the antenna, a sphere forming. He pitched forward and shouted, “Sparkling Wide Pressure!”
“Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!” Mercury said as he began to jam on the guitar, his fingers moving faster than any normal guitar player’s. Several lances of ice fired from the tuning bars, all aimed at the creature. The thunder sphere struck first, stunning it when it was struck in the head. The icicles struck next, freezing the soft underbelly solid. A couple more riffs and the ice shattered, breaking the beast’s stomach open and exposing its innards.
“Eeeew,” Warrior Pegasus said, “a visible model of a Negaverse youma.”
The monster regained its senses a moment later, screeching in extreme pain before it went into shock and crashed to the ground, its left leg twitching in the air, its breathing shallow, dust rising from around.
“Do we finish it off now?” Warrior Venus asked, poking the somewhat prone body with the butt end of his staff.
“Oh yeah,” Warrior Mars said, a spark forming at the tip of his fingers, “Fire SOUL!”
A wave of flames leapt from his fingers, swirling around the monster and engulfing it. The beast’s tail twitched and swung, catching Warrior Mars in the stomach and sending him to the ground. Mars fought to catch his breath as Venus wrapped up the tail in several chains of hearts.
“Even when this thing is in shock it still fights back,” Warrior Draco said. A moment later the beast glowed, its body shrinking and changing shape until a raven haired woman cloaked in priestess clothing laid before them in a crater, a large wound in her stomach. Everyone stood in open mouthed awe when they saw the woman.
“Oh man,” Warrior Jupiter said, “we’re in trouble.”
“She must be a dragon.... a black dragon,” Warrior Pegasus said, her spear thrust into the ground next to her.
“How do you know about the dragons?” Warrior Neptune asked.
“Well, Lina told me about a friend of hers who is a golden dragon who is able to do the same transformation, or a similar one.”
“Do you think she’s good or evil?” Warrior Mars asked as the flames around the woman were extinguished by his will.
“Difficult to tell,” Warrior Pegasus said as she began dragging the woman out of the crater. Warriors and Venus lent her a hand and the three quickly brought the woman to street level, where they laid her on a patch of soft grass.
“To begin treatment for shock keep the feet elevated and the person warm,” Warrior Mercury said as he propped the woman’s feet up on Draco’s flame thrower. Warrior Neptune unclasped his cape and draped it over the woman’s upper body.
“Now for that wound,” Warrior Venus said, “this is when I wish Alex or Lina was here,” he added as he pressed his hands to the wound. The woman gasped in pain before lapsing back into unconsciousness. Pegasus held the woman’s head as Venus chanted the spell.
“Humble, blessed, infinite god, life and breath of mother earth. I pray thee, come before us and deliver us. Recovery!”
Venus’ hands glowed as the spell ran its course. As the spell healed the wound the woman’s hair turned from black to golden blond. A moment later the woman opened her eyes and blinked a few times. When she saw Warrior Venus with his hands on her stomach she screamed and a split second later Venus had the impression of a mace in his face.
“You pervert!” the woman growled, “How dare you touch a priestess of the fire dragon king, not to mention the last of the golden dragons, in that manner!?”
“Lady, he just saved your life with a recovery spell,” Pegasus said, “you could have at least thanked him instead of bashing his head in.”
“Oh my, I’m sorry,” the woman said as she put her mace back under her dress, “I appreciate what you did, especially breaking that evil spell.”
“I’m your Venus, I’m your fire, it’s your desire,” Warrior Venus slurred before he collapsed, face first, upon the ground.
“Well, he’s going to be out for a while, “Warrior Mercury sighed.
“Who put you under that curse?” Warrior Mars asked, “Miss....”
“Filia,” the woman replied, “Filia Ul Copt, of the house of Ul Copt, and someone by the name of Black X put me under his spell in hopes of having me destroy those who opposed him.”
“If I know Black X he’ll be after us now,” Warrior Draco said, “we should get you to the apartment where our friends Fam, Ihrie, and Naga live.”
“Did you say Naga, as in the great white serpent Naga?” Filia asked.
     “Yes, I did.”
Filia turned a shade of pale which nobody had ever seen before. She held her hand to her forehead before she collapsed backwards, her robes flowing about her as she fell. Warrior Jupiter caught her as she fell and in one powerful motion had whisked her from her feet and was cradling her in his muscular arms. Filia opened her eyes a moment later, blinked a couple of times, and wound up looking into Jupiter’s warm brown eyes. She wrapped her arms around his neck and said, “Carry me there, big boy.” Those who heard what she said fell over. Jupiter felt a warm blush creeping over his face.
“I guess it’s off we go,” Neptune said as he and Mercury hoisted Venus off of the ground and wrapped their arms around him, carrying his weight on their shoulders.
“Not so fast,” a gruff male voice said. A moment later a beast man phased in before them. Ugly did not begin to describe him, since his fur was a pale shade of blue, his eyes had a strange yellow - green glow, his ears were crooked, and his teeth were sharp and protruding, with little bits of flesh stuck between them. He was rather muscular, though, and wore a pair of torn and ragged green pants. “The golden dragon is coming with me to see Lord Black X.”
“Not as long as we can still fight,” Warrior Pegasus said, her spear pointing at the beast man’s stomach, the horn at the end glowing golden.
“One of you is unconscious, two are holding him, and one is holding the gold dragon,” the beast man said, “that leaves three of you to fight.”
“And those three are pretty strong,” Draco said, a samurai sword forming in his hand. He leapt into the air and shouted, “Dragon Slayer!” before swinging the blade downward. A beam of red energy leapt from the glowing blade, wrapping around the beast man and cutting him repeatedly before breaking down.
There was a swishing of a cape from behind the beast man, which was followed by a hair raising laugh. The beast man's left eyebrow began to twitch as he turned around to find himself eye level with a pair of large, round, and very firm breasts that were clad in black leather with a small skull resting on top of them. Attached to the top of the breasts was a neck and a head with ice blue eyes and violet hair. To either side was an arm, one of which rested on a well formed hip, the other holding a lollipop which a small tongue licked from time to time. Between the breasts and hips was a flat, very toned stomach which was completely bare, and below that a leather thong. From the hips came a pair of incredibly long and well toned legs, both bare to the shins, where a pair of boots began.
“May I ask what you’re looking at?" the woman said, leaning over to get a better look at the beast man. She took another lick from her lolly pop before saying, “You’re really ugly so why don’t you go home and tell your master we’re not interested.”
The beast man looked past the woman’s left side to see a girl who looked to be part squirrel or part cat, since she had big pointy ears, an orange fur covering her body, and blonde hair and a blonde tail. She was dressed in simple yet intricately decorated shorts, boots, and a vest over a white shirt. In her hand was a large staff with some odd decorations on the head. He looked past the right side to see another girl, this one human and very boyish looking. She had purple hair that was pulled back out of her face, and no trace of jewelry. She wore baggy white pants, a white tunic, and red armor with silver decoration. Her arms were bare except for wrist length brown gloves that covered her sword holding hands. Her boots were also very plain as well, being somewhat off white in color.
“Did you hear me?” the tall woman asked, grabbing the beast man by the ear, “I told you to go home!”
“Better do what she says before she laughs again,” the squirrel / cat girl said.
“That wasn’t nice to say Fam,” the violet haired girl said, “after all she only laughs when she’s dressed in that outfit.”
“Fam, Ihrie, I think we might have some fun with this beast man,” the woman said before laughing again. The beast man's hair curled at this sound.
“Right on Naga,” Fam said, “but what should we do?”
“Get Filia and Venus back to your apartment,” Warrior Mercury said, sliding Venus from his shoulder as Ihrie came up to bear the burden. Once he had both hands free again he closed his eyes, a jewel at the center of his chest armor glowing. A split second later the electric guitar was back in hand.
“Oh my,” Filia said from Jupiter’s arms, “that looks interesting.”
“Mercury Aqua Discord,” Mercury said before jamming out a few chords and riffs in rapid fire fashion. From around the beast man water amassed, blobs moving up his legs until a pillar ultimately shot up and engulfed him. All the excess water flowed back down the beast man's body, leaving a wolfsicle.
“Wha... what is.... this?" the beast man asked, shivering so inside the ice that it began to crack.
“Now for the finishing touch,” Warrior Mars said, a sea of flames forming beneath him again, “Mars Napalm Bolo Engulf!”
Discs of flame shot up from the sea, spinning to form fiery bolos. Mars sent these forth at will, each one striking its target and wrapping around it, burning through the ice and into fur and flesh. One of the bolos missed, wrapped around a tree behind them, burned through the trunk, and dropped a 75 year old pine tree on top of the beast man, shattering the ice and squashing him flat. Everyone winced as the beast man was taken out by something natural.
“That has GOT to hurt,” Fam said. Ihrie sighed and shook her head.
“Well, that takes care of that beast man,” Draco said, shouldering his flame thrower.
“Onward to the apartment,” Naga said as she turned, her cape following her movement like a fan boy who wants to hide behind his prey. As she strutted off the sway of her hips caused men all around to turn and look in awe at this tall, raven haired beauty. Fam and Ihrie sighed, as did the warriors, who were busy packing up their equipment. By now Warrior Venus had regained consciousness and was wondering why Filia had bashed him over the head.
As they walked off, a solitary, shady form peeked out from behind a tree, taking in everything that she saw. A lock of raven, if not midnight, black hair fell in her face, which she immediately brushed back behind one pointed ear. She grinned, a pair of fangs protruding over her deep red lips. Her eyes shown golden in the shadows.
“So, they’re heading for their apartment,” she said in a low, husky, liquid voice, “we shall have some fun soon.”
The woman turned, her loose skirts swishing about her ankles as she moved. Though her clothes were of a similar design to those that Filia wore, they were black or darkly colored opposites of the gold dragon’s. Anyone who saw her would swear she was Filia’s body double, since they looked remarkably similar. People whom she passed were immediately filled with a feeling of ill will, and paled in color, their voices trailing off as they turned to look at her again. And yet she continued on her way in a southern direction, towards the same destination as the Warriors.

The apartment of Naga, a.k.a. Princess Gracia Seyruun, Fam, and Ihrie, previously of Lina Inverse, Zelgadis Greywords, Gourry Gabriev, Sylphiel Nells Raada, and Amelia Will Tesela Seyruun. A set of rooms with plenty of floor space, lots of closet space, a full kitchen, a separate dining room, a double bath, and three bedrooms. The decorations ranged from simple and tacky to complex and beautiful. Once the Warriors entered the apartment they reverted back to their forms of James Stanley (Venus), Steve Young (Mars), John Lynn (Mercury), Ryan Shackett (Draco), Dave Early (Jupiter), Tony Clough (Neptune), and Lydia Deetz (Pegasus). When Filia saw this her jaw dropped and she immediately fainted again, this time falling onto the floor since nobody expected her to do that.
“She’s not going to be too happy when she wakes up,” Lydia said.
“Oh well, all we can do is make her comfortable,” Ryan said as he slipped his hands under Filia’s arms. A split second later her eyes snapped open and Ryan got a face to mace encounter.
“It must be pure reflex,” Fam said as Ryan fell over, “that’s the only way to account for it.”
“Oh my, I’m so sorry,” Filia said as she cast a Recovery spell upon Ryan, “I hope it didn’t hurt too much.” she added as Ryan rubbed his head.
“Ever have an elephant sit on your head?” Ryan asked, wincing as he round the grapefruit sized lump on his head. As Filia shook her head for a negative response he said, “It really hurts.”
“Well Miss Filia, how did you come to be here?” Lydia asked, “I mean, you’re Lina’s friend, aren’t you?”
At the mention of the red haired sorceress Filia leapt into the air and cracked her head on the ceiling. In a fluttering of robes she landed on her back on the floor. Everyone sighed as she moaned in pain.
“I know Lina,” Filia said after regaining her breath, “she’s a frightening person to be around sometimes.”
“But how did you get here?” Ihrie asked.
“Black X teleported to my shrine and kidnapped me. In his pocket dimension he had a black sorceresses of his cast a spell on me to turn me evil and into a black dragon.”
“But who was the spell caster?” Tony asked. A moment later a hair raising scream filled the air. James and Steve sprang to a nearby window, flung back the curtains, and came face to face with a pair of glowing green eyes. In the time it takes to blink they were hurled across the room and into a wall. The windows opened inwards, the curtains blowing about as a dark colored form floated through.
The woman touched down on one delicate foot, her robes falling into place about her. Those who were still on their feet looked between the woman and Filia, their heads ping ponging from one to the other, for the woman looked like Filia’s mirror image through a dirty looking glass.
“So this is where you are, dear sister,” the woman said, grinning at Filia.
“That’s the spell caster,” Filia said, “my sister, Fearia.”

<music: From A to B>

“That’s right dear sister,” Fearia said, “Master Black X sent me to bring you back. He’s worried that he’ll lose one of his dragon girls.”
Fearia took a step towards Filia, only to meet resistance from Fam, Ihrie, and Lydia.
“Out of my way, you fools. You have no idea who you’re dealing with!”
“If she’s a friend of Lina’s, she’s a friend of ours,” Ihrie said, “so just butt out!”
     “You insolent wench, you shall...”
Fearia didn’t get a chance to finish her sentence since Fam backhanded her across the face. The black dragon rubbed the bright red hand print that stood out on her cheek, smoke blowing from her nostrils. A moment later Fam found herself head first through a wall, energy waves giving her the spanking of her life.
“Make her stop!” Fam wailed as her butt was beaten black and blue.
“Spirits of air, heed my discourse, stop my enemy’s motions with unblockable force,” Ihrie chanted as she performed motions for her spell. A force wave struck Fearia and passed harmlessly by like a wave striking a boat on the ocean. A split second later Ihrie was struck by a magical backlash that hurled her across the room and into the couch.
“Time to move the battle outside,” Steve said, his gauntlet forming around his right forearm, “Mars Nova Power!"
Rings of flame leapt from the jewels in the gauntlet, wrapping around his body on many levels, all shrinking inward to form his armor and outfit. Once he transformed into Warrior Mars he grabbed Fearia around the waist and teleported himself and the reluctant black dragon to a vast wasteland where they could fight it out without worrying about destruction costs.
Once Mars left with Fearia, Ihrie freed Fam from the hole in the wall before she gathered up her equipment. The other warriors summoned their power items to them and then transformed.
     “Pegasus Crystal Power!”
     “Jupiter Nova Power!”
     “Venus Nova Power!”
     “Neptune Nova Power!”
     “Mercury Nova Power!”
     “Draco Nova Power!”
There were six flashes of light that brought forth Warriors Pegasus, Venus, Jupiter, Draco, Neptune, and Mercury. Filia, Naga, Fam, and Ihrie took the hands of Warriors Jupiter, Draco, Neptune, and Mercury respectively and the group teleported to the battlefield. The moment they phased in a barrage of fireballs nearly took their heads off.
“Woah,” Warrior Pegasus gasped as a tree behind her burst into flames before toppling over, “close shave.”
“No kidding,” Warrior Neptune said after a fireball whizzed between his legs, “who’s firing these things off?”
A large cloud of smoke hovered above a large grove of trees, which by now was ablaze. A smaller cloud of smoke hovered over a large bonfire that was once a floral bush. Fireballs were sailing from both clouds at wild and improbable angles, most missing their target by a mile and striking something before exploding.
“Are either of them hitting their mark?" Warrior Venus asked Warrior Mercury, who was scanning the clouds and analyzing all the relevant data.
“They’re close about 0.00001% of the time, have hit their target 0.000000001% of the time, and the rest of the time they are completely off their mark.”
“Wow,” Warrior Draco said, sarcastically and genuinely surprised at the same time, “their aim sucks!”
As Draco said that a pair of fireballs sailed at him from both clouds. They collided above his head, catching him in the blast and toasting him to a crisp. He exhaled smoke as he fell over, his hair singed and curled from the blast.
“Wow, the way that happened it seems like they meant to do that,” Fam said, poking the extra crispy warrior with the end of her staff.
“Which one is Mars and which one is Fearia?” Warrior Pegasus asked.
No sooner was the question out of her mouth than a large and very peterbed black dragon erupted from the larger cloud bank, smoke trailing off of its wings and tail as it gained altitude. From the smaller cloud came Warrior Mars, his flame bow in hand, a flaming arrow notched and the string drawn taut. As Mars gained an altitude nearly equivalent to that of Fearia he took aim and released his attack.
     “Mars Flame Sniper!”
The flame arrow sailed through the air at an amazing pace and struck Fearia in the tail before exploding and engulfing the tail in flames. Fearia screamed in pain in an octave higher than Filia when she was possessed. The black dragon then turned its head towards Mars, its neck arching in a somewhat majestic fashion, and promptly belched a fireball at him. Mars caught the fireball right in the chest and was blown out of the sky.
“Warrior Mars!” Filia shouted as Mars plummeted from the sky. She turned her head towards where her sister was and shouted, “You’re in for it now, dear sister, since you just hurt one of my friends!”
“Hit her hard and fast,” Warrior Mercury said, his ice guitar reforming in his hands, “Jupiter, Venus, distract her or blind her or stun her... I don’t care what, just bring her into range.”
“Right,” Warrior Jupiter said, the antenna extending from his gauntlet. A large amount of electricity sparked around the antenna, a ball of sorts forming. “Sparkling Wide Pressure!”
“Crescent Beam!” Warrior Venus shouted as he pointed at Fearia. A laser beam fired from his fingers, striking Fearia in the left wing. Warrior Jupiter’s attack struck her in the head, stunning her and sending her plummeting to the ground. Fearia crashed down with enough force to create a blast crater and cause the ground to tremble, and once she was down the Warriors moved in about her.
“What do we do with her?” Warrior Neptune asked, poking Fearia’s unconscious body with the butt end of his trident.
“Do we heal her, kill her, destroy her, or send her back to her boss like this?" Naga asked as she bent down to get a better look at the unconscious black dragon.
“I don’t know,” Fam said as she moved around the crater to see Fearia from all angles, “Filia, it’s your call since she’s your sister.”
“Tough choice,” Filia said, “she is family, but she’s evil. But what would mom and dad say if they found out about this?”
“We could try a healing spell,” Venus said as he knelt down next to Fearia, his hands glowing as he chanted a spell under his breath. As he passed his hands over Fearia’s body white light bathed the black dragon, healing her wounds. Once the spell had run its course Fearia opened her eyes, blinked a few times, and sighed.
“Look at her eyes,” Fam said, indicating that Fearia’s eyes had turned from emerald green to sapphire blue, a twinkling of sorts visible now.
“Fearia, how do you feel?” Filia asked, kneeling down next to her sister.
“Filia, what happened?” Fearia moaned, clasping her sister’s hand, “the last I remember was some monster swooping from the sky and taking me away to a giant castle clouded in darkness.”
“I’m just glad you’re back to normal,” Filia said as she hugged her sister, “we can go home now.”
“I don’t think so,” a gruff male voice said. Everyone looked up to see an army of beast men surrounding them on a rather wide ring. Naga sighed when she saw it was the same beast man she had yelled at earlier.
“Will you give me a break?!" Ihrie said when she noticed the beast man. The beast man winced a little when he heard the tone of her voice.
“Let’s rock!” Warrior Mercury said as he took a pick and started jamming on his guitar. Large icicles fired from the ends of the tuning bars. Whatever was struck by the icicles was instantly frozen in a block of ice.
     “Jupiter Plasma Bolt Chain!”
Warrior Jupiter summoned the energy whip, which he cracked towards some of the beast men. The one that he struck turned tail and ran away whimpering. Any other it was cracked at performed tricks like a well trained dog. Jupiter laughed maniacally as he barked commands at his playthings.
     “Venus Melt My Heart Strike!”
Three chains of hearts emerged from the jewel in Venus’ star staff, each one dancing like a charmed snake. He then sent these chains forth, each of which wrapped around one beast man apiece before hurling them far away or crushing them to a pulp. He eventually cracked the chains like whips, sending them burrowing into the ground where the chains split and erupted forth, taking out some beast men as they attacked.
     “Horn Missiles!”
Warriors Pegasus began to spin her staff like a giant baton, the horn at the end glowing rainbow in color. After some fancy tricks she spun it above her head, golden missiles firing in all directions, many missing their targets or lodging themselves in tree trunks and stuff, but a few impaled themselves in the bodies of beast men. the horns glowed rainbow before what they were impaled in was phased into subspace.
Within a few short minutes the Warriors had whittled the army of beast men down to just the leader, who looked around at the battlefield and turned blue from fright. Where ever he turned he wound up face to face with one angry face or another.
“What do we do with him?” Naga asked, munching on a lollipop.
“I think we should study him,” Warrior Draco said, a large brown bubble forming in his hand, “either that or blow him up.”
“I’d like to blow him up,” a familiar voice said from outside the ring. People turned their heads to see a somewhat battered Warrior Mars, standing with his hands together, his index fingers pointing upwards, a fireball forming as he channeled energy to a single point.
“Now that’s an idea,” Warrior Neptune said, placing his hands above his head, a sphere of water forming between his palms.
“Well, it can’t hurt to try,” Warrior Jupiter said, holding his hands before his body with his palms facing. A sphere of thunder formed between his palms a moment later.
“Oh no!" the beast man exclaimed when he knew he couldn’t escape, “Master Black X, I have failed you!”
     “Fire...”
     “Aqua...”
     “Thunder...”
     “SOUL!!”
The three energy spheres struck the beast man, burning him, drowning him, and electrocuting him until an explosion finished him off. When the smoke and dust cleared, all that remained of the beast man was a torn and tattered pair of cutoff pants. The Warriors teleported everyone back to the apartment and revered their transformations before plopping down in the rec. / living room to relax. Naga, Ihrie, and Fam all changed into something more comfortable, and in Naga’s case more covering, before they joined the others.
“So, what do we do now?” Ryan asked, looking at the two dragons.
“I think it would be for the best if we went home,” Filia said.
“Won’t Black X hunt you down and enslave you again?” Ryan asked.
“Not if we send him a little gift,” Fearia said, a glowing sphere forming in her palm. It winked into subspace a moment later.
“Was that a spell of forgetting?" Ihrie asked. Fearia nodded a moment later, a satisfied smile on her face.
“You guys will write and visit, won’t you?" Fam asked as Filia opened a portal to the valley of the dragons.
“Yes young Fam, we will,” Filia said as she and Fearia entered the portal. They turned and smiled at the group before the portal closed, taking the twin dragons home.
“Do you think that’s the last we’ve seen of them?” John asked. The others shook their heads for the negative in response.

Meanwhile, in Black X’s fortress, the lord himself was sitting on his throne, his war counselors with him. As he was instructing them on where to attack next in the Dragon Valley, a small orb of light blinked into existence in the space between the four men. The orb flashed a few times, nullifying and erasing all memories of Dragon Valley before it vanished in a puff of smoke.
When the four recovered Black X said, “What are you doing here?!”
“We thought you called us, my lord,” one general said.
“Go away and find that valley of the... the... what were we looking for again?”
“I don’t know, my lord,” another general said, “but we shall search night and day for whatever it is.”
Black X shouted curses in several languages, and his curses echoed throughout his pocket dimension.

The End.
