43 / Resolute Breakthrough

Opposing forces are at an ebb. With resolute action take advantage of these times to make a breakthrough. Non-violently, but with firm resolve, press ahead. Be unwavering to your highest principles and exhibit honesty to yourself and others. Resolute consistency turns the tide.

As to those conditions about the body, the relationships and those activities pertaining to success:

Look not upon that which has been. Remember, he that looketh back is as one bereft of the reasons that would make for the activities. If the success is to be put to the same usages that it was when accomplished in the past, what good would same be in thine experience?

Such material things should be looked forward to, then rather in the manners as we have oft indicated. Be not unmindful that consistency in speech, in act, in the relationships to thy neighbor, in every way becometh one. And rather let those things that have been be forgotten. Build upon those things worthwhile, but look not back. 257-155

Hence one of those influences which should ever be first and foremost is consistency, as well as persistency.

And know that the ideals must ever be of a constructive, creative nature, if there is to be harmony, peace, or even a semblance of material success. 2160-1

(Q) What general advice may be offered to me for my personal guidance in making myself successful both in the eyes of God and man?

(A) Keep those policies that have builded self to know self to be honest with self. And when you are honest with self you will not be false to the God or to the fellow man.

Meet every condition fairly, squarely. Every act must be met by self, in its dealings with its fellow man. 335-4

The answers, then, are within thyself. For thy body is indeed the temple of the living God. There He has promised to meet thee, in the holy of holies—thy purpose, thy will.

Will ye make it then to be at-one with His purpose? Let thy prayer ever be:

"Lord, have Thine own way with me! Use me in the way and manner Thou seest, O God, that I may be the greater channel of blessings to others, to glorify Thee—here and now!"

That is the attitude, my friend, that will bring thee closer and yet closer to the knowledge, the understanding and—yea—with same the wisdom to apply that thou knowest.

He asketh not that ye apply that ye know not of, but desires that every soul "Seek and ye shall find, knock and it will be opened unto thee."

These are not merely sayings, beautiful to hear yet impractical in daily life! Have ye not observed and found that these are in keeping with the law? 2524-3
