If one is to be in touch with the cosmic flow, she must develop a consciousness that will permit communication. A responsive relationship with the One is required. Yielding and open, the forces of heaven can penetrate into the depths of the mind. Through the wide gate of her spirit’s awareness, the sage receives the earth-intended force and humbly puts it to use for all people. This is pure yin—the feminine—and a sign of peaceful involvement with life.
