These fics and ficlets were inspired by another author's fanfic, Anizoids.

If you are here, you most likely are familiar with the whole Anizoids interactive fic. However, on the most unlikely chance that you are not...

Anizoids started on fanfiction.net as an interactive fic (which were then banned). As the name implies, it is based on the anime Zoids. These spinoffs are stories featuring original characters submitted by various readers. I may be biased, but I find the stories very interesting, which is a real credit to the writers since they are all original characters. I hope you agree!

Oh, yeah, and I am aware that disclaimers really don't "protect" against legal action, but...it is out of courtesy that I post it. Most creators and companies let these things slide, and to them I am most grateful.

The concept of anizoids does not belong to me/us. Anizoids are the brainchild of Wolfkcing, a very talented fanfic writer in his own right.

Wolfkcing's Anizoids fic is set a couple of years after the end of Zoids: New Century Zero.

I am stalled on the spinoff I promised FallenAngel, but I will see if I can find the first part of the Hane Steel side fic. I'm working on some contest entries for another fandom, and motherhood is rather demanding now that the toddler is actually toddling, but I am still very interested in further exploring Hane's background when the muse and real life cooperate. Will try to post the first part as a taste of things to come if someone prods me with a pointy stick.

Sax's story is so dang long, and chock full of good ol' fanon cliches of a well known, rather popular anime, that it is certainly not for everyone, but it amused me much when I was writing it. Should you be considering checking it out, because you have a lot of time on your hands, a chapter list with chapter titles and brief summaries is now available to make reading it easier. Furthermore, anyone who doesn't want to read the whole thing, but may be interested in scenes (Sax's past escapades) that are referred to in the Anizoid fic, can pinpoint it a bit easier. For those following the Anizoids fic:

• Chapter 26 contains a brief allusion to Sax's past meetings with a certain female character and several Zoid warriors.
• Chapter 29 also refers to TWO of Sax's past activities - one being his run-in with the Fuzzy Pandas and another refers to his meeting the Champs at a charity function in Chapter 39.
• Other meetings with known Zoids characters can be found in Chapters 37 and 45.
• There are actually other chapters, as well, but I didn't list them as they contain spoilers for other things that happen in the entire fic. If you would prefer just to read them, though, and really don't want to commit to the very loooong story that is Ab Ovo, you can also check out chapters 33 and 52.
