May 9, 1999 It's Mother's Day. Called Mom, but she was out, probably with my sister Dianne. My daugher, Dianne, is not home. My daughter, Audrey, forgot that it is Mother's Day. who cares? School is out for a week and i can work in the garden, sleep and talk on irc. barbara

May 21, 1999 sure i know what day it is.......lots of homework. VisualBasic is interesting and fun the first week. the garden is coming along nicely nothing else is new?

June 17, 1999 dear diary have gotten very behind in programming homework, trying to catch up. the garden is going well, getting to be pretty. we have put in tomato plants and broccoli and zuchinni in the back i put a few cosmos with the vegetables, be cause they are in the all day sunlight. almost time for summer vacation for the kids. i think i might put my english comp papers online. later

November 9, 1999 Dear Diary It's just been too long since I wrote in here. Still going to school, and have had some great courses in Linux and Web Programming. I really do like it. My nest-door neighbor got a computer, finally, and is now online with AOL. I think she really likes it. I can't get cascading style sheets to work in Netscape, and that is driving me crazy. Especially since I want to do my Christmas theme page in CSS. I was looking at random homepages in the mediaone gallery, and there are some really horrible ones out there, as well as some amusing ones. Even some of the business pages are just really bad. Oh!
