Knowles Signs With Moncton
Steve Knowles who played with the Frontenac Flyers (North Frontenac Flyers) last year and was drafted by the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League was signed by the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Oshawa who owned Steves rights made a deal with Moncton so Steve could play closer to home.
Steve had a very good rookie year with the Flyers scoring 14 goals and 25 assists for 39 points with the Flyers in 32 games.
