FRONTNAC FLYERS JUNIOR HOCKEY
Frontenac won a shootout at home against the Campbellford Rebels 9-6, a game that had coach's on both teams pulling their hair out. The Flyers took a 6-3 lead in the first period and then let Rebels come back and late in the third period the score was 7-6. Finally with less than five minutes in the game Matt Lowe put the game away. Scoring for the Flyers was Ryan Everarrs 3, Paul Amedeo 2, Derek Mack, Matt Feeley, Corey Thompson, Matt Lowe. The line of Paul Amedeo, Derek Mack and Ryan Everaar are on a roll accumalating twenty three points in the last two games. It is nice to watch a line work so well together they pass the puck around and all of their goals have two assists. The Flyers schedule will be rather busy meeting the two top teams in the Rideau League this week. They play Brockville Tikis in Brockville on Wednesday and the return home next Sunday to face the ever threatening Westport Rideaus. You can be sure playing on Sunday afternoon the Rideau fans will be here to support their team. Lets see all the Flyer fans out as well to support the team, it should be a very exciting hockey game. The Flyers are having a FREE PUBLIC SKATE ON DECEMBER 22ND, 3PM TO 4.30PM COME OUT AND SKATE WITH SANTA AND THE FLYERS.
