ALL Nominations are male/female. If one character of a specific gender has the most votes for a first place, then the character of the opposite gender that has the most votes will take second, and then the second-most votes of either gender will take third. Does this make any sense? No? Good.
- Best Good Character -
- My Nomination (Male): Tyrol Havenlock's the best example of a good character there is.
- My Nomination (Female): Even though she's dead now, Luna's still the best good character I know.
- Best Evil Character -
- Best Neutral Character -
- Best "Other" Character -
- Best human/elf character -
- My Nomination (Male): There are few child characters in the Altar nowadays, so I'll ignore them unless someone can prove to me there are at least five running around. I'm just going to guess Ryle Havenlock for this category, though. Why Ryle and not Tyrol? Because Ryle plays a typical person of the time period, if you ask me.
- Best animal character (including dragons, horses, etc., that isn't covered by the other categories because of their infrequency)-
- My Nomination (Female): Whiskey, who I call Whiskers, is as non-human as you can get. The player plays this part just as well with the same-specied characters, but I have my heart set on the original.
- My Nomination (Male): Fyrephase is the best played dragon around that I know of. And since I don't know much about the Altar as of current, he gets my nomination.
- Best darkness character (including demons and vampires) -
- My Explanation: I created this category because of the dwindling numbers of vampires and demons in the Altar these days, I'll guess, but an increase in characters based on dark arts. I will not touch this category because I have no clue, and I can't nominate Ty in this case (he doesn't know ANY magics! Just herbs!).
- Most original character -
- My Nomination (Female): I've only seen Wynter Seduction a few times, but she already strikes "original" to me. I have never seen so many people respect the frost that she brings, and that cold, perhaps calculating stare is something few people are able to pull off efficiently.
- Least original character -
- Most pathetic character -
- The Madonna (or Most Frequently Changed) character -
- My Nomination (Male): Soran/Armatri. As a whole, they change daily, and with long, twisted, and complicated causes. Though they don't look anything like Madonna, they still have my vote.
- My Nomination (Female): They say, "go with what you know." Well, I know crazy, and I know changes. Estishia(in this case, Faerisha) too changes daily, from single to married, from sane to insane, from battle starter to peacemaker, from drunkie to a wussie who wouldn't touch alcohol.
- Most twisted/sadistic character -
- My Nomination (Male): Rawn. 'Nuff said.
- Happiest/funniest character -
- Most depressed/depressing character -
- My Nomination (Female): Estishia - all counterparts. It's really depressing to play her! And she probably depresses others, too. Piracie is a "slave" to Rawn's whims, and claims to love him; Susanna is declining on power and is at a disability; a recent sight of the killing of Manevilance, Jale's heir and baby, has made Faerisha snap (and the other two don't care at all - Susanna would kill the other children if she had enough motivation). That is the most depressing, sorry, and sad situation I've seen in a while for any of my characters, but it's not so bad that I'd nominate her for most pathetic character. That's for you people to do.
- Most enraging/grumpiest character -
- Most secretive/deadliest character -
- My Nomination (Male): Sigra Vek (Siggy!). You don't know what his motives are, but if he is paid to go after you, prepare for a fall. My second notion would've been Waylander, but I haven't seen ol' Way boy in action.
- My Nomination (Female): WynterSeduction, I guess, takes this category. She is as silent as she is deadly. She doesn't talk much, and the only reason I gave her the edge over, say, Rhea, is that Wynter plays the character of a frost beast (or it looks like it, that's for sure), which is really cool and adds a chill of suspense as you feel the frost slowly freezing down your spine (yeah, that was bad).
- Strangest character-
- Craziest/most chaotic character -
- Best Dead Character -
- My Nomination (Female): Lady Luna, who recently passed away, is the sweetest soul and otherwise the best dead character I know. By the time these awards are finished, though, she'll probably be revived.
- Barroom Brawler/rudest -
- My Nomination (Male): Ryle Havenlock is not exactly the best example of a Barroom Brawler, but can be pretty rude on occasion and he's the one who would defend his brother Ty at the drop of the hat. Other than that, he's a pretty nice character once you get to know him. Further proving this notion is the fact that he was recently poisoned because he shoved past a lady and is slowly dying.
- Cautious Comrade/most polite -
- My Nomination (Male): Tyrol Havenlock is not only the most polite character I know, but he is the character least likely to get into a fight.
- Most reliable character -
- My Nomination (Male): Tyrol Havenlock, hands down in my book, is the most reliable. He's not only polite, cautious, and good-hearted, but he's also the most stable.
- Most traitorous -
- Sexiest character -
- Most randy character (what's this word mean, anyway?)-
