Resolving Conflict Biblically

If you say to me that you have no conflicts in your life, than I would say either you live in an isolated world or you are not telling the truth! Everyone has conflicts at various times in their life. Sometimes these are minor and are handled with ease, but other times they get out of hand and become major problems in our life.

Handling conflicts with Christian awareness and Biblical insight is the subject of a new Bible study to be taught on Monday nights in Amherst and Sumner. This class is for all members and their friends who might desire to manage conflict in a more peaceful manner. Several of our members  attended a workshop at Holy Cross recently on this subject and found the material to be so helpful that they requested we offer a more detailed study for our congregation. Please make every effort to commit to this study time. You will be greatly rewarded! I must say that I have never participated in a study that I enjoyed more.

Pastor Gillam

Your Help is Needed!

The Nebraska Health and Human Services System is asking for your help. Single or married persons at least 19 years of age are needed to provide temporary or permanent caring and structured homes for children of all ages, especially teens. If you would consider opening your heart and home short-term (foster care) or permanently (adoption), you are invited to attend Pre-Service training that will begin Sept. 12 in Kearney.  Please call 1-800-779-4855 for more information.

Many Thanks

  • We wish to thank Pastors Gillam and Sommerfeld for their prayers and visits during Elmer's recent illness. A special thank you to the members of both congregations for their prayers and support, as well as the love and concern of dozens of family member, neighbors and friends. God's help and your caring really does work miracles.                                             The family of Elmer Taubenheim
  • A special thank you to all Trinity members who remembered me in their prayers, with flowers, visits, food and helping me folling my recent surgery. Also to my daughter Cindy who stepped in and did the church bulletin and Pastor Gillam for all his help and prayers  while I was recovering, and Pastor Jacoby for his prayers and hospital visit. God has truly blessed our community with caring, sharing people.
