The Oseiko Kurotsuki Memorial

The scene opens up to an empty arena and a ring set up within. Standing in the center of the ring is "the Revenant" Shaed Bloodgrave himself, clad in black jeans, boots, a tank top, and a black trenchcoat, looking somber before the camera.

"Good evening... I am Shaed Bloodgrave," he says. "... Tonight we pay homage to a young woman who was truly one of a kind here in this profession. Her name was Oseiko Kurotsuki... the Black Widow."

Shaed sighs softly... then continues. "I was asked to host this show because I knew Oseiko better than anyone... and so I shall speak... but we will do more than that. Tonight we'll show some of Oseiko's best matches, as well as her first matches from the IWF archives, and her most memorable here in the EAW.

"But first... let's get to know Oseiko a bit better..." Shaed says as the scene fades to black.

"Oseiko Kurotsuki was born on February 12th, 1984, deep within the Forests of Hokkaido," Shaed's voiceover spoke. "She was my great-granddaughter... descended from her anscestor, her great-grandmother, who was a part of a clan of ninja known as the Oniwa Banshu. When Oseiko was old enough to walk and to comprehend, she was taught the art of ninjitsu. She was a fast learner... and at the age of fifteen, she had acheived the status of genin, or low man. It was then she was branded with her now familiar tattoo... and was given her ninja name... Black Widow."

"I visited Oseiko many times in her village," Shaed's voice over continues. "... I watched her grow from an adorable little girl into the strong young woman she became. As a way of bringing her into the world and to help her acheive the status of chunin, or middle man, I adopted Oseiko into the Knight Cross. Like the art of ninjitsu, she assimilated modern culture quickly... uncontaminated by the harshness of the world she was innocent and gentle... and above all else, honorable. That was quickly learned when we came to the IWF."

"No one believed she should succeed in the world of professional wrestling, but she had succeeded in winning the IWF's Cruiserweight title, proving all skeptics wrong. It was a goal that Oseiko was overjoyed in attaining. And when she eventually lost the title, she graciously awarded the belt to the victor, and left the ring in honor, proving she was a class act all the way."

"When we arrived in the EAW, Oseiko had stunned them all by winning the EAW European title. Her run in the EAW, however short, was successful at the very least... becoming People's Champion later on, up until her death... Oseiko Kurotsuki died as she lived... thinking only of others and not herself... saving a young boy from certain death."

"Oseiko Kurotsuki has been called a prodigy... an earthbound angel. Tonight, she truly is one... looking down upon us... and wishing us all the best of luck in whatever we hope to acheive."

The camera fades back in to Shaed.

"Our first match is Oseiko's first match... Black Widow Vs. X-Pac, from the IWF. Enjoy."

Black Widow Vs. X-Pac

Both competitors are already in the ring... Jim Ross & Jerry "The King" Lawler are commentating the action.

JR: The bell has rang and here we go... swift mid-kick from X-Pac catches the newcomer off-guard... AH, SPIN KICK, and Black Widow is knocked out of the ring!!

King: Whoa, that fast?! Talk about green!

JR: Well, this IS her first match in the IWF, King... X-Pac's showboating to the fans... wait, Widow just climbed back in... she taps X-Pac on the shoulder--KICK TO THE GUT! VERTICAL SUPLEX by Black Widow!

King: Okay, she's a quick learner, I guess...

JR: SPIN KICK by Widow, X-Pac is knocked down! But he rolls to his feet! And ANOTHER SPIN KICK by X-Pac knocks Widow down!! I'd say these two are evenly matched here, King!

King: Don't be so hasty, JR! X-Pac'll mop the ring with that girl! Just watch!

JR: We'll see... X-Pac with the pick-up, but Widow suddenly acts! Scoop slam! And STANDING MOONSAULT And there's the pin! One, two! But X-Pac kicks out! Look at that look on the Kid's face... I think he underestimated the Widow, here!

King: Noooo, she just got lucky, JR! Ain't no way some rookie is gonna beat a veteran like X-Pac!

JR: In any case... Widow makes a quick dash, slides under X-Pac's legs... AND THERE'S THE ELECTRIC CHAIR DROP!! Amazing balance and strength from Black Widow! And the double knee drop keeps X-Pac down for good measure! And there's... yes, there's the camel clutch!! Shaed's been teaching the Widow a thing or two about wrestling holds, it seems!

King: Yeah... c'mon X-Pac! You can get out of this, X-Pac!!

JR: X-Pac has reached the ropes... Widow breaks the hold... WAIT, SCHOOL BOY PIN FROM X-PAC! 1... 2... Ah, Widow got out! That was close!

King: More like a slow count, if you ask me...

JR: Well, no one asked you... Widow side-steps X-Pac... my God! Look at those kicks from Widow!! Swift roundhouse kicks to the back of the head! a grab made... four knee shots to the head... AND THERE'S THE THUST KICK!! She calls it the Kumo No Sasu!!

King: Koomu No Whatsis?!

JR: One... two... three!!! Widow wins! Widow wins! Widow wins!! We have an upset!!

King: No kidding!! And X-Pac and the rest of DX're gonna be pretty upset too!!

Winner: Black Widow

JR: Widow bows to X-Pac... now there's a show of class for ya, King, flips out of the ring and greets the fans... this girl's gonna go places, King...!

"Jim Ross was quite prophetic in his words," Shaed remarks with a soft smile. "When we come back, we'll catch the closing moments of Oseiko's first championship win. Don't go away."

Now showing the closing moments of the six person battle royale match to determine the new IWF Cruiserweight champion, Black Widow, Raven, and Edge are the only ones in the ring at the moment. Jim Ross and the King are commentating.

JR: Widow's in the corner recovering from Raven's Evenflow DDT... OH, EDGE WITH A SPEAR ON RAVEN!! And he winds up and tosses him out!! It's just Edge and Widow now!

King: Yeah! You'll see, JR! Edge is gonna be the new Cruiserweight champ!

JR: Edge grabs Widow! Tosses her over--WAIT, SHE... Mah God!!

King: What did she just do?!

JR: She was tossed over the top rope, but she held on and slide under it! And dropkicked Edge in the gut! Mah God I've never seen such agility in my entire career!!

King: Wow! I gotta admit, JR! That was something else!!

JR: Edge with spear -- NO, Widow side-steps-- KUMO NO SASU!! And Edge goes flying over the top rope!!! We have a new Cruiserweight champion!! And she's the Black Widow!!!

King: AHH!! I can't believe it!! That girl's the new Cruiserweight champion?!!

JR: You better believe it!!

Winner and new IWF Cruiserweight champion: Black Widow

Black Widow is awarded the IWF title belt by the ref... and is staring wide-eyed at the gold strap, mouth agape. Suddenly she jumps high into the air, cheering esaticially as the fans all cheer with her.

"I remember that night well," Shaed remarks with a fond smile. "... Oseiko was so estatic that she won the IWF Cruiserweight title... bouncing up and down cheering... 'YA TAI! YA TAI! I DID IT I DID IT...' it was a touching sight indeed...and she was a worthy champion indeed... she successfully defended the title, until she lost it to an opponent better than her. She was heartbroken... but she did the right thing... awarding the title to the victor, bowing in honor, and leaving."

"Another case of her show of honor occured at a taping of Riot Rulz, on June 9th. At EAW No Escape she had managed to win the EAW European title... an act she was very proud of. A week or so ago she had to defend the title against Crucifix, but she was nowhere to be seen... she had to choose between her career in professional wrestling, or her school activities."

Oseiko is just seen entering the arena, still in her school uniform (or fuku) when Lilith catches up with her.

Lilith: Oseiko! Hey, you're just in time! Your match is about to start!

BW: Shimatta, no time to get changed! I gotta go!!

As Black Widow rushes to the ring, Lilith stops nd blinks... then smiles.

Lilith: We have fanservice sign! Woo-hoo!!

"Voices" cues up as Black Widow emerges from the entryway, looking upon her opponent with a sigh... then takes a quick honorable bow to him just before she rushes to the ring, vaulting over the top rope and taking the fight to Crucifix! The bell rings!

EAW European Title Match

Black Widow (c) Vs. Crucifix

The Widow throws a pump kick to Crucifix's chest, knocking him down. She immediately goes for a standing moonsault for the pin, but gets a one count. The Widow picks Crucifix up, but her opponent lands an elbow to her gut, setting her up for an implant DDT! Widow rolls around, holding her head in agony as Crucifix watches... then walks over to pick her up, suddenly from out of nowhere -- Kumouchikomu!!!

The Widow goes for the pin... NO, only a two count! The Widow looks almost fustrated as she climbs the top rope and hits a spectacular shooting star press on Crucifix and tries to pin him again, but he kicks out without even a one count! The Widow sighs deeply, then looks around... swallowing her pride she pulls off her skirt, revealing her panties (!!) and waits until Crucifix stands up, and attempts the Kumo No Sasu, but Crucifix side-steps! Grabbing her attacking foot he leg drags her, countering the thrust kick, then keeps a hold on her leg, applying the ankle lock! The Widow cries out in pain, but refuses to submit. proving she's made of sterner stuff than what people take her for!

Annoyed by her persistance, Crucifix rolls out of the ring and snatches a chair from ringside. Rolling back in he sets the chair up near the ring corner, then goes to the Widow just as she gets up, then drops her back to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker! Judging her to be sufficiently weakened, Crucifix props her up into the chair, climbs the top rope and hits his Flaming Cross, spearing the Widow right out of the chair!! Throwing the chair aside Crucifix goes to pin Black Widow... 1... 2... NO!! She gets a shoulder up at the last second!

Crucifix grabs upthe Widow's hair and Irish whips her to the ropes, but the Widow slides under his legs, grabbing his ankles, and just like that, she's applied the Kumo No Amimono!! She bares down on Crucifix, who's straining to get to the ropes as best he can... reaching for all he's got... and he reaches them! The Widow has no choice but to release Crucifix from the elevated crab! Black Widow refuses to surrender though as she climbs the top rope... it looks like she may try to finish off Crucifix with the Dragonrana... but Crucifix beats her to the punch! Kicking her hard in the stomach, he sets her up... and drives her down with the 7th Sin!! The Widow fought a valiant fight, but to no avail; three seconds later we have a new European champion!

Winner And New EAW European Champion: Crucifix

The Widow manages to stagger up to her feet... realizing she lost she grabs the belt from the ref before he can award it to Crucifix... looking to her opponent, she sighs deeply and hands him the belt, bowing honorably as she does. Crucifix snatches the belt from Widow's hands and just stares at her... the Widow is clearly disappointed, tears running down her eyes as she climbs out of the ring and heads to the back.

"Oseiko once more proved to her fans and to many many others that she was a warrior of honor, as well as a true professional," Shaed says. Up next we'll take a look at a match that Oseiko ensured me was one of her more fun matches... the Bikini Beach Brawl. Stay tuned."

"The date was Jun 23rd, 2000..." Shaed continued. "That day Oseiko was booked into a special Bikini Beach Brawl match with Lilith Aensland. The goal was simple... bury your opponent in sand to win. Oseiko personally told me afterwards that although she was nervous about the match, she said it was one of her more enjoyable matches. Well, see for yourself."

Lilith Aensland vs. Black Widow

Ayane Mitsui is special guest referee (in a bikini)

Variation on 'buried alive' match; taking place at Miami Beach. All will be wearing bikinis. The only way to win the match is dump opponent in on of predug holes and bury your opponent in the sand.

We go live to Miami beach, where the referee, Ayane, is standing in the ring in her "refereeing bikini." A number of fans are standing around the ringside area in swimsuits.

Instead of Lilith's regular theme music, "Spookshow Baby (Black Leather Cat Suit Mix)" by Rob Zombie plays as Lilith steps onto the scene, dressed in her regular outfit, and gets booed. She laughs, then transforms her outfit to a netherflesh ONE PIECE!! This fares no better with the crowd, until Lilith transforms again; this time she grows to a physical age of nineteen again, and her outfit shrinks to a red thong!! She waves to the (now) cheering fans.

"Voices" cues up as Black Widow steps onscreen
Ayane signals for the bell to ring, and the match starts. BW starts it off with a fake clothesline she turns into a waistlock, then into a Mysterio-rana. Lilith waits for a two count before kicking out. She whips BW to the ropes, boosts her up into the air, and monkey-flips her as she falls. Stunned, BW gets back up, and falls backward over the ring ropes, a la Kane. Lilith opts for another route: She bounces off the opposite ropes and attempts a running plancha, but BW sidesteps it, and Lilith eats sand. BW hooks on a double-armed Camel Clutch, but is unable to lock it on properly, and Lilith breaks free, and slides back into the ring. She gestures with her index finger for BW to follow her.

BW hops onto the apron, but Lilith does a handstand, catches BW's head between her ankles, and flips her over the ropes. Lilith then runs to the corner, up the turnbuckle, and lands a moonsault on BW. Widow DDT's Lilith, legdrops, and somersault senton's Lilith. She attempts to whip Lilith to the corner, but Lilith reverses, sending BW into the corner, where she hits, and slumps.

Lilith feels herself up like Goldust, then hits the Bronco Buster on Widow. She then drags her out of the ring and over to the nearest hole, and tosses her in. She shoves a small pile of sand into the hole, but Widow climbs out, and snap suplexes Lilith into it!! Lilith climbs out, shakes the sand off her wings, and slips behind BW. She UNDOES Black Widow's bikini top, and as Black Widow tries to cover up, Lilith Russian Leg Sweeps BW into the hole!!. Lilith daintily drops it into the hole and tries to use her wings to shovel the sand over her.

Widow leaps straight up out of the pit!! Top in her right hand and arms folded over her chest. Ayane rushes over to help BW tie it back on. Lilith whips Widow to the corner where the guardrails meet, but Widow reverses, and Lilith hits it!! BW runs in, monkey-flips Lilith, and waits into the corner for Lilith to rise...when she does, BW hits the Kumo No Sasu!! BW drags Lilith near another hole, but Lilith gets up, zips behind, and bulldogs BW into the sand. She dumps a handful of sand INTO BW's BIKINI BOTTOM!! Then rubs her face in the sand! Widow gets back up, and hits the Kumouchikomu Piledriver, leaving Lilith with her head sticking in the sand.

BW pulls Lilith out, and rolls her into the hole. She shoves piles of sand into it, and covers up Lilith. Lilith pops her head up through the sand as Ayane signals for the bell.

Winner by burying opponent in sand >>> Black Widow

"Well, that was certainly exciting the second time around, was it not?" Shaed remarked. "Well... we we return, we'll see the spectacular match at EAW Retalation... Black Widow Vs. "Code Red" Michael Connelly for the People's Title in the steel cage. Don't go away."

"Recently, Oseiko had been on a bit of a losing streak..." Shaed continued. "... she was beginning to lose her confidence, and even thought about retiring from this sport... even being named the EAW's hottest female superstar wasn't enough to lift her spirits. Then came "Code Red" Michael Connelly, who had offered to give Oseiko a chance to win the People's Title he held. After a while, a relationship grew between the two... first friends... then they became lovers. Then their match at Retaliation came. And here it is... Black Widow, Code Red... a steel cage match for the People Title. Enjoy."

People's Title Match: "Code Red" Michael Connelly Vs. Black Widow

Styles: Well, this night has been a great night of EAW entertainment, but up next, is Black Widow verses Code Red Micheal Connelly, and this will be for the People's Championship, that Code red will be putting on the line.

King: I personally don't like either of these two, but they're both great athletes, and this should be a great match.

"Voices" begins to play and Black Widow comes out to the ring to a huge pop.

Styles: These two athletes are the best of friends too.... I wounder how that will effect this match...

"There's a fire in the house" plays, and Code Red comesto thering with the people's title, to an even bigger pop.

Code red gets into the ring and he and Black Widow look at each other, then bow to one another, and the bell rings.

Styles: I can't wait, this match should be great!

The two lock up in the center of the ring. Widow starts pushing Connelly, but Connelly gets his head under widow's arm, and brings her up for a northern lights suplex, but doesn't go for the pin. CR runs off the ropes as Widow gets to her feet. CR goes for a clothline, but misses. Code Red stops in his tracks, thinking Widow went to the ropes. He turns around, but is greeted by a spinning heel kick right to the face. Red goes down hard, but gets up quick. But by the time her gets up, Widow hasgone off the ropes. They both come in twords each other, and Black Widow jumps up and nails Code Red with a jumping side kick. Widow stands over Connelly, waiting for him to get up. It doesn't take long, and when Micheal gets up, Widow goes for another side kick. Connelly ducks under the kick, and catches Widow as she spins around. Code red locks in the chicken wing, then lifts her into the chickenwing suplex!

King: Lord! great move by Connelly! The pin, 1...2... no!

Connelly grabs her by the arm, and whips her into the corner, following her in, and clothlining her. Widow walks out, dazed, and CR lifts her onto his back, and is about to go for a somoan drop, but Widow reverses in mid-move, and swings CR back into a crucifix pin.
Styles 1...2..NO!

Widow, and Connelly both get up slow. They're both up Connelly goes for a punch, Widow ducks, she scoops him up...

King: KUMOUCHIKOMU!!

Styles: "We've got a new champion right here!"

King: "1....2....3 NO! So close!"

Widow gets to her feet and looks frustrated. Widow waits off to the side for Code Red to get up.

Styles: "It looks like Widow is going to go for the Kumo No Sasu."

Red gets up slowly, Widow goes for the kick, but Code Red ducks under it and runs off the ropes.

King:" Red's off the ropes! SPEAR! 1...2...NO!"

Styles: "So many near falls!"

King: "Well what do you expect... this is for the people's title, and these are two of the wrestlers that the people love most!"

Styles: "This is what EAW is all about!"

Connelly grabs Widow by the arm and drags her up to her feet. He throws her into the ropes. She comes nbounding back as Connelly runs in andleap frogs over her. They both come off the ropes to the middle. CR goes for a spear, but Widow jumps over him, and reverses it into a sunset flip!

Styles: "1...2...NO! These two are giving it their all here tonight!!"

Widow's up first. As soon as Code Red is onhis feet, she begins to unload on him with a series of kicks. Michael goes to the ground, and Widow climbs the cage..Widow goes to the top, and attempts a 450 Splash, but misses. She misses Mike in the in the chest with the splash Widow begins to climb the ropes, but somhow, Code Red gets the energy to get up and hit her. She falls on the top turnbuckle, and Connelly begins to climb the ropes for a superplex.

King: "Superplex comming up!"

Widow hits Connelly in the gut, then stands on the top turnbuckle with Connelly. She scops him up....

Styles: "KUMOUCHIKOMU OFF THE TOP ROPE!!!"

King: "MY GOD!! IT'S OVER!"

Styles: "1......2......3, NO! HOW IN GOD'S NAME DID CODE RED KICK OUT!?!?!"

The fans explodes in a pop so loud you would think there was an atomic bomb setting off.

King: "LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE!!!"

Widow is up, she gets Connelly to his feet and then kicks him with the Kumo No Sasu!

King: "It's got to be over now."

Styles: "Oseiko-chan , is over the cage, we've got a new People's Champion!"

Winner by escaping the cage >>> Black Widow

After the match, Mike climbs out of the cage, bows to Oseiko, and they hug each other, as they go to the back.

"The next night Michael Connelly and Oseiko went out on their first date..." Shaed says. "... From what Oseiko told me, it was a magical night between the two... well, anyhow... the program's almost over... but before we end this, we're going to hear from Oseiko herself... yes, Oseiko had a premonition that something like this would happen... so she had a videotape made after Mayhem. Right now... here it is."

The scene opens to Oseiko's hotel room in New York... sitting on a bed, clad in her ring gear still, is Oseiko... the People's Title laying next to her, the videocamera's remote on her hand as she stares at the camera.

"Konban wa..." she speaks. "... If you're seeing this right now, then... I guess my feeling was right... and something... horrible has happened to me. I just want to say right now... please... please try not to be upset or sad... I may not have lived a long a life as I had wanted... but I still feel like I accomplished a lot in my mind. I have a lot to say right now... so let's get to it...

"... Firstly, to Michael-san..." she begins. "... I can only imagine what must be going through your mind right now... the utter anguish... the sadness, knowing you'll never see me again... I know I feel bad about it too... but... I'm not saying 'don't mourn,' because you will... everyone will... I'm just saying... be happy. Be happy because I bet right now... unless I did something bad that I missed... I'm watching over you. Think of me as a guardian angel, Michael-san. And always remember the good times, ne?" Oseiko smiles hopefully. Then takes a deep breath.

"... Shaed-sama... I hope... no, I know I've made you proud of me... I've followed your path of honor to the letter, and I've never looked back. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to keep on living for you... but I know you'll remember me. Morrigan-sama... take care of Shaed-sama... and tell chibi-Taen-chan and chibi-Michiru-chan about me, okay?

"... Kaye-san... Ariel-chan..." Oseiko continues. "... Two of my best friends. You know I'll watch over you two as well... even now, with Damien-baka controlling you and Sasori-san. Oh... and Lilith-sama..." Oseiko smiles. "... Don't feel upset that you made all those jokes at my expense... I didn't mind. I never minded. You were my friend. And friends do that sort of thing."

Oseiko pauses for a moment... pulling her gloves off her hands before continuing. "... Finality-chan... I hope you don't get too upset over this... I want you to recover completely... for me, okay? And this goes out to all my past opponents... Crucifix-san... Flyboy-san, Cyrus-san, Elite-san, Krist-san... even though I fought hard against you all... it wasn't personal. I considered you all to be potential friends. If you needed any guidance... a shoulder to cry on... anything... I would be there. That's just the way I am... and that leads me to an important request to the EAW Executive Board..."

Oseiko reaches for the People's Title and places it in front of her. "... Colley Dogstar was the last opponent I faced in defending this title. Therefore, as a last request, I ask that this title be awarded to him, and that he is to be the new EAW People's Champion."

Oseiko sighs deeply... then wipes a tear from her eyes.

"... To all my fans... my Widow Otaku... I'm sorry that my career had to be cut short like this...and I hope no one thinks too harshly of me... you've all been so good to me... the cheers, the chants, everything... hearing them makes my heart go pitter-pat everytime. It's you fans that make it all worthwhile. And it's to all of you I say... 'doomo arigato gozaimasu.' Thank you very much."

Oseiko pauses for a moment, then breaks out into her trademarked bright smile. "Of course, if nothing happened to me and you're playing this tape... well... BELATED APRIL FOOL'S!!"

Oseiko sighs deeply... bowing her head. "... But if something has happened... then all I can say now is..."

Oseiko points the remote at the camera.

"Saishu no wakare... minna-san."

Oseiko presses the button... static and snow follows suit... fade to black....
