After the fireworks that open the hellish arena, we pan over the announcer's desk, where Megan Eko is seated next to Flyboy. Flyboy hypes up Cataclysm, although Megan doesn't seem to be in quite the same mood. Megan welcomes back Rash to active competition in EAW. Flyboy seems a little angry over that, but sympathetic to the way Rash reacted to Megan's near-retirement.

"Light it Up" by Master P starts up, and Mike Action makes his way out, getting a good pop...

"Conflict" by Disturbed cues up, bringing out the so-called "New Legend," David Flair. David argues with a section of the crowd holding up "WHOOO""OOOOO""OOOO" signs, and nearly gets hit in the head with a few soft drinks.

"Zan" cues up last, and the EAW Extreme Champion MAIKU comes out last, and he and David are in pretty much the same boat as far as crowd appeal...

After the bell, Flyboy re-iterates that this is Triangle rules, so it will be run elimination-style. Action starts off by attacking both opponents, with the crowd heavily behind him, but David slows down his momentum with a chairshot between the eyes. Momentary double teaming from Flair and MAIKU, but Flair turns on MAIKU, low blowing him and going for schoolboy roll up. MAIKU kicks out, and comes back with a barrage of kicks and an ULTRA NOVA for a 2 count, but Action hits a Guillotine Legdrop on MAIKU, covering him for a long two.

After the kickout, David drops a set of steel stairs on the back of Action, then uses them on MAIKU. MAIKU dropkicks them into the face of David, and the two start brawling, with MAIKU suplexing him OVER the top rope and onto the floor!

Action starts to go after White, hitting a backbreaker and a series of elbowdrops, then lays MAIKU's head on a chair, then lays a chair overtop it, and leaps off the top with a kneedrop--compressing MAIKU's head between the chairs. David crawls back in, and pulls Action off of MAIKU, then covers MAIKU...long two. Action sends a trash can in, and goes after David AND MAIKU. David recovers as Action wails away on MAIKU with the trashcan--David ducks under the shot by MAIKU--kicks Action in the groin--then dunks the trashcan over top him, dropkicking him and wedging him between the ropes. He hits the "EAW Pride" DDT onto the two chairs, and covers MAIKU...getting the 1,2,3!

Eliminated: MAIKU

Action scoops and slams Action, then springboard moonsaults onto Action!...makes the cover--but action slides out of the trashcan.

Action comes back after a Slingshot Suplex onto and THROUGH a table, but only manages to get a long two...

"Also Sprach Zarathustra" cues up, and gives fair warning to David...who looks towards the entranceway...but is unprepared when Ric comes out from a section of the crowd--sneaks up from behind, and brawls with David, who begins to fight back--Ric quickly uses a knee to the groin to catch David by suprise. Ric chopblocks David, then grabs a large wrench, and drives it into David's groin!!

Action makes good use of the opportunity, and sets up David--using the "Action Time" (slightly modified version of the Osaka Sniper/Osaka Street Cutter) on David, then coves to get the one, two, three!!

Ric raises Action's hand before heading to the back...

**Commercials**

"Burning Inside" by Static-X cues up as we come back from break...fireworks explode from the entranceway as Kaye enters...

After Kaye gets to the ring, "Ride on a Shooting Star" by the Pillows cues up, and the EAW International Champion makes her way out next...

The winner of this match will go on to Cataclysm, to face the People's Champion in a title unification match!

Kaye stands, unmoving, as the bell rings. Oseiko looks a bit tentative to make the first move...charges--ducks around to behind Kaye--hits the ropes--ducks a clothesline from Kaye--and a dropkick off the ropes by Oseiko! But Kaye doesn't go down! Oseiko up..she ducks between the legs of Kaye--and leaps on her back, grabbing a hold of Kaye by the neck--Kaye drops down to one knee--but flings Oseiko over her shoulder--wrapping her hand around Oseiko's throat! Kaye pulls her up by the neck, tossing her into the corner, then hits a running clothesline in the corner. Kaye puts a boot under the throat of Oseiko, who tries to fight free...Kaye sends her into the corner--but Oseiko flips over her on the charge in, and locks on a Tarantula!!

Oseiko takes advantage and tries to keep Kaye down, even locking on a Triangle Hold, but Kaye comes back. Kaye reverses a Kumorana into a STYGIAN BOMB!!!--getting a long two. She then hits a Flying Lariat, and Oseiko rolls out to the outside...

Oseiko comes back with a snap suplex...arm drag, then whips Kaye into the corner, hitting a spinning wheel kick.

She covers Kaye...gets a two count, but is tossed off. Kaye gets back up, hoists up Oseiko in a lifting chokehold, tossing Oseiko nearly halfway across the ring! Oseiko gets back up in a daze, and Kaye sends her to the ropes, hitting a big boot. Oseiko pulled up by Kaye...Kaye with a backbreaker...nearly gets the pin, but NO!...Oseiko kicks out.

Oseiko comes back, hitting a Kumo No Sasu, then an ASAI MOONSAULT--ONE! TWO! THR--NO!

Oseiko goes up top, goes for the 450 Splash--but KAYE GETS UP THE KNEES!!!

Kaye gets up, and pulls up Oseiko--CHOKESLAM on Oseiko. She drags her thumb across the throat, then finishes with the Burning Rain...ONE! TWO! THREE!!

Result- Kane attempts a top rope chokeslam, which Jasmine SOMEWHAT counters into a version of the Indiscriminate Justice. Nearly of them are able to respond to the final 10 count by the referee--so it ends in a draw. A draw goes to the champion, sooooo...

Double KO; Kane retains EAW People's Title.

**Commercial Break**

"DNR" by Testament cues up, bringing out the challengers for the EAW Tag Team Titles out first...

"Don't Stop at the Top" by the Scorpions cues up next, and Michael Connelly and Lance Storm come out next, WITH the tag team titles...

In the ring, Lance and Morty start out for their respective teams. Storm starts to dominate early after a series of dropkicks, then locks on a cross armbreaker. Morty reaches the ropes, but Storm with the Mahistrahl Cradle--kickout by Morty at one. Morty sent to the champions' corner, and Lance stomps away at the midsection, then tags in Michael, and the two of them double team Morty, then execute a Double Decker Superplex on Morty.

Michael uses a combination of kicks to keep the advantage--but Morty comes back with a sideslam, then tags to Spike....

Morty sends Michael to the ropes, setting up and hitting the Skull Spike!! Morty goes outside and Spike lays in axehandles to Michael's back. Spike attempts a clawhold slam off the ropes, but Lance saves with a Missile Dropkick. Michael then--shockingly, hits a T-BONE SUPLEX!! The massive Spike is throws off guard, and Michael goes up top, hitting a 2nd rope Moonsault, nearly getting a two on his massive adversary. Micheal tags in Lance, and Michael sends Spike to the ropes, drop toe holding Spike into Lance's Superkick--pulling off a version of the Skullspike.

Lance starts focusing on the midsection of Spike, but a splash in the corner ends when Spike CATCHES him midair by the head, in the Hanging Mask, then DROPS him over the top rope to the floor. Lance lands on his knees, slides back in, where Spike stomps away on him. Spike gets a long two after an Iron Maiden, and tags in Morty. Morty applies and STF from the apron, then Spike finishes by executing a spear--the S&M special. Morty gets in the ring and slugs away on Lance....Lance blocks and comes back with rights of his own, send Morty to the far ropes--CLOTHESLINES him out of the ring. Lance tags Michael, then goes to the far ropes...bounces back, and FLIPS OVER THE TOP ROPE, doing a Swan Dive on top of Morty as he comes back up. Lance is unable to capitalize, but Michael comes out, then rolls Morty in...Michael grabs his legs and attempts a figure-four pin, but only gets a two...

However, Bane comes out from backstage, and charges the ring...Lance, though not the legal man, is ready for him, and meets him halfway, and slugs it out with the monster--Bane takes control, then crotches Storm on the safety railing--and then grabs a chair and climbs the apron, running, leaping off, and smashing in into the forehead of Storm, who then falls into the seating area.

Back in the ring, a piledriver from Michael is reversed into a backdrop, and Morty stomps away on Michael...

Bane drags Storm backstage, though Lance begins to recover...Michael finds himself in trouble as Spike is tagged in, and they double-team the remaining tag champion. Michael valiantly fends both of them off, and is able to send Spike spilling to the floor with a Suicide Dive Spear.

Backstage, Storm manages to get a long piece of pipe to uses as an equalizer, and wails away on his assailant...then locks him in a nearby freezer, wedging the pipe in order to keep him locked in...

Lance rushes to get back to his match, seeing them executing the KILLSPIKE as he's on the stage...he rushes towards the ring...ONE! TWO! THREE!! And is unable to make the save....

**Commercial Break**

The following is a grudge match...specially requested by Kirk Angel...a SUBMISSION MATCH!!

"Trouble" by Cypress Hill cues up, and Spazz is the first on his way to the ring...

"Gonna Fly Now" then cues up, as the Number One Contender for the EAW Title comes out next...

At first, Spazz and Kirk Angel simply begin brawling...Spazz begins to take control, then attempts to powerbomb Kirk out of the ring--Angel slips behind him and they fight over a backslide--Angel wins it, then goes for a Surfboard--Spazz fights it off. He sends Angel into the ropes and hits a short powerbomb, then rolls Angel on his stomach, hits a series of crossface punches, and then locks on a Camel Clutch...

Kirk refuses to give it up...and starts to fight free--Kirk puts on a chinlock and tries to keep him down, but Kirk fights up--elbowing him in the midsection, then sending him into the ropes--Kirk drop toe holds him, then grabs the ankle of Spazz, locking on a standing anklelock.

Kirk focuses his attention on the left ankle of Spazz, while Spazz keeps going for various chokeholds, even nearly getting a tap out after hitting a Tiger Driver, then putting on a Katahijime.

Kirk escapes with a mulekick, then hits a kneebreaker, then drops a pair of elbows to the knee, and wrenches on the ankle again.

Spazz fights back up, and tosses Kirk to the ropes, hitting a powerslam. He pulls him back up to his feet and hits a Condemnation. Spazz then locks on a Boston Crab varation...wrenching WAAAAAAAAAY back on the hold. Kirk refuses to give up, eventually powering out of the hold when he is able to reach the ropes. Spazz works on Kirk's back, but Kirk hits is able to fight back up, then sends Spazz to the ropes--and hits a belly to belly suplex. He then grabs a steel chair, slamming it against the weakened ankle. Then, he opens the chair slightly, wrapping it over the ankle, and goes up top--jumping off and stomping on the chair--very possibly breaking it...

Kirk puts on the Angel Anklelock...Spazz holds on best he can, but eventually has no other option but to tap out...

The referee raises Angel's hand--but Angel isn't quite content, and drops a pair of elbows on the damaged ankle, actually drawing some BOOS from the crowd, though some are cheering it...

Megan and Flyboy sign off for the EAW, and tell us not to miss Cataclysm...
