About Thyme
I got Thyme 2 years ago. The first year I got him, he was out in his field and a crop duster went overhead and sprayed the grain he was eating, all the grass, and the poison soaked through his skin. The vet came out and said he was 15 minutes from dying, as his body already had began shutting down. with rehabilitation, he recovered and I was able to ride him again. I began retraining him and then trained him for barrels and poles. We went to state in pole-bending. We won in a barrel racing association a lot and everything was going great. Then, in August 2002, Thyme got West Nile Virus. It is now 2003 and Thyme is doing great! I have started doing rodeos with him again and are getting checks! I am so proud of him and wouldn't sell him for the world!
Here are some pictures of Thyme and ME! Enjoy!
I like this picture. It's pretty simple but pretty!
He has a lot of motion when he moves. He's a very nice mover.
He calms down very easily after a ride. He's a great horse.
Awh! Sharing a snack after a ride.
This isn't a very good barrel turn. He usually digs into them but the ground was bad this day.
He has such a pretty head and face! And a gentle eye.
What a calm horse...sometimes!!! Haha
This is at districts, doing poles. We got 4th out of 87 kids. He did really well considering when we were warming up he tripped and rolled over on my leg.
This is my brother Patrick holding Thyme for the picture!
We're learning to pivot under saddle. *Sigh*
NEW PICTURES OF THYME:
We had a lot of fun riding in the snow!
This isn't a great picture but its cool.
Thyme looks really fat in this picture!
