Star Van & Storage Co. was founded in 1904 by Mr. J. H. Loper with a horse and wagon. After his death in 1954, Star Van & Storage Co. was lead by Mr. Lopers widow, Millicent Loper and her daughter Josephine Schermerhorn. Jack Andrews took the reins in 1960. Current owner, John Andrews, took over in 1988. He changed the name to Apartment Movers of Lincoln. The name was changed back in 1988.
