Rivier College Habitat for Humanity

Hello and welcome to our site!  One of our goals is to fundraise enough this year to build homes for families in the southeastern United States for Spring Break! We also plan to continue to educate the community on poverty and hunger. And this year we will strive to organize and participate in more local building projects.

In Rivier Habitat's first year, the tradition of the Alternative Spring break, or Collegiate Challenge, was established. Each year we spend our spring break working together at a habitat site. We have traveled to such places as Newports News Virgina, Charleston South Carolina, York Pennsylvania, John's Island South Carolina, and Winston-Salem North Carolina.
This will be a very exciting year and a wonderful experience for us all, so please come join us, do something for others and help us fight homelessness and hunger!

We believe that "Home is where the heart is," and that's our mission; to help eliminate poverty and homelessness through the building of affordable homes for those less fortunate.
Our organization is involved in many activities throughout the year. Some weekends we'll be working on a house, other weekends we'll be fundraising. Whatever we do, we are always having a great time, and supporting our community at the same time.
We welcome you to join us in our fight against hunger and poverty!
Thanks for visiting! Be sure to check back in on the latest news and events throughout the year!
