June 7 & 8 - Placebo play in front of their largest crowds to date when they headline the Rock Am Ring & Rock Im Park festivals in Germany

June 30 - Sleeping With Ghosts goes gold in the UK
July 14 - Maximum Placebo, an unofficial audio biography was released
September 15 - Special Needs single is released
