Our two Wegies have been showing since February 2003 when they were kittens. They have done so very well and I thank Cheryl for being such a wonderful and supportive mentor to me. I appreciate her beautiful cats, and her breeder excellence.
This first show season, I have successfully shown my two Wegies, "Vajsco and Orion" as kittens, opens, premiers, and now "Vajsco" as a grand premier. Just after receiving his six winner ribbons and moving into the premier level, at his first show as a premier "Vajsco" finaled in six of the eight finals at the August 2003 Kansas City Show. The rings were as follows: (1 ring-Best AB Premier, Best LH Premier; 3 rings-2nd Best AB Premier and Best LH Premier; 2 rings-2nd Best LH Premier), totaling 107 winning points to grand, needing only 75. (Show count was 43 LH Premiership, 15 LH Premiers; 52 SH Premiership, 10 SH Premiers to equal 95 AB Premiership, 25 AB Premiers.)
I proudly announce that "Vajsco" ("GP RW Vanir Cassioet Kvasir of NorKatz") has accomplished and is now titled as a One-Show Grand Premier.
Vajsco continued in his next four following shows to final in every ring. Throughout the fall, winter and into spring, Vajsco continued to amaze us on his accomplishments. At the end of the 2003-2004 show season Vajsco accomplished a Regional win and obtained 3rd best of breed in premiership.
Both Vajsco (GP RW Vanir Cassioet Kvasir of NorKatz) and Orion (GP Vanir Orion of NorKaz) are pet therapy/visitation cats. Every week they visit several nursing/retirement homs and a local hospital. They have gone through the national testing and are certified members of Lincoln Pet Partners and also DELTA International. Read more at our NorKatz website.
