Hi All! I just recently conducted an interview with a very cool lady making a name for herself on the New England scene, and also a winner of two Strictly NE polls, Cherry Payne.
1. First I want to congratulate you on winning New England's Top Woman of 2002 and Chaotic's most Popular Personality of 2002 as voted by the visitors here at Strictly NE. Now what was it that made you decide that you wanted to be in wrestling?
Thanks to Strictly NE for putting me up on the polls for the voting. After watching years of WWF wrestling, I caught a late night taping of Friday Night Chaos. It was the episode where Arch Kincaid and his sister April Kincaid had a match with the lovely Dawn Marie and Simon Diamond; I was hooked and thought I can do that! I was @ Kowalski’s the next weekend finding out what I had to do to get there. Who knew I would be Arch’s valet the very next year! (Thank you Arch)
2. Since you've entered the business, what has the experience been like?
Amazing. I have been lucky enough to meet a lot of great local wrestlers, and participate in some amazing shows.
3. You attend CTC, Why did you pick that school out of all the other ones and would you recommend it to anyone else in the area interested in becoming a wrestler?
I highly recommend the CTC because of the hours, location and students. Students are very supportive of each other at the CTC. I chose CTC after meeting Mike Hollow he seemed exited to train me and see what my limitations were. Jim MCarthy is an incredibly patient trainer.As a female it can be intimidating being the only woman in a locker room of guys but I have always been met with respect and have a lot of fun helping with shows.It is great to know that students I have worked with are now working for the WWE and we get the opportunity to attend camps with Dr.Tom Pritchard.
4. Are there any special moments during a past show that really stick out in your mind. If so what are they and why?
Of course the very first time I was introduced in front the crowd because I was nervous. The John Walters vs. Steven Richards match, it was amazing to see these too crack each other with kendo sticks, you never know what it is like until you get smacked with one. The Arch Kincaid vs. Chris Harvard (Nowinski), weapons match.
5. Any funny moments in the ring or the locker room?
Every time my boob falls out is a funny moment! (or at least it funny to me)
6. I understand you're also an actress, what have you been in?
Movies to be released by monsterfashion films. We are currently working on 2 Indy horror films and a weekly TV show, with Cherry Payne as your only New England Horror show co-host!
7. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love anime, I collect all the bloody gory ones, Ninja Scroll is one my favorites, Horror Movies, Drawing, Martial Arts, Web site Design, I am currently working on www.indywrestlers.com which will hopefully serve as my homepage and as a directory for as many wrestlers as I can get on there!

Randy Miller: Can I rent a room from you Randy? I have to make a phone call.
Jamie Jamitowski: A talented multitasker
9. What do you think of the ladies talent here in New England?
Hopefully I will get to meet more of them soon, So far what I have seen is good, but we do need more women.
10. What does the future hold for Cherry Payne?
More movies, mayhem, action films stunts! A new language or 2. Plently on my plate
