Why moonstar? For all of my friends, I give this explanation: It's an old obsession of mine. Don't worry, I've outgrown it now :-). So why did I use it? Simple. I write fantasy stories and moons and stars have a fantasy quality about them.
My home page is mostly about my stories. I hope to write a few short stories for this page so that I can get the hang of this writing thing :-). I have been writing since the age of ten. I started out writing a silly story about two brothers and their sister who all flew through space in a ship. At that time I had a thing about "space commanders", they were really cool.
Then I went into a story about a gal wearing all green and had a weird hair-do. I don't really remember most of that story, no big deal.
From there I went into my "early 20th century" mindset. I wrote about an army that had some scandals going on behind-the-scenes, tossed in a little romance for good measure and it was cooking up pretty good for a while. Somehow, the burner got shut off on that one so I hunted up something else.
Next up was a big one I tentatively called "Walk on the Wild," a name which didn't, and still doesn't, fit the actual story. It's about a race of people called the Krihln who try to take over the kingdom of Talbiton, forcing the crown-prince-turned-high-king to be exiled to an island where he gathers together enough warriors and magicians and re-claims his kingdom from the Krihln. Needless to say (but what the heck), I have unsuccessfully tried to write it approximately 5 times already.
Right now I am wanting some feedback, good or bad, on my first full-length story, The Watcher. I have already decided to re-write the whole thing, but I would like other people's opinions about it from it's current written viewpoint. If anyone has any suggestions about it, or any other comments, please write me at the address at the bottom of this page.
Latest news: I am moving to a new site. Yes, Angelfire has been pretty good, but my knowledge of html is bogging me down and I really need a better background design. I have found a new community online that I am currently building in, but it is a secret until my grand opening. I will probably be moving sometime towards the end of 2000. I will post the new address here when I have the new place up and running :-)
