Ray Miller
Receives The
Cornell Runestad
Lifetime Achievement
Award for
Choral Music
in Nebraska

This award is named in honor of its first recipient, Cornell Runestad, PhD.

It is an award given each year by The Nebraska Choral Directors Association (NCDA),
an affiliate of the The American Choral Directors Association.

The NCDA’s Cornell Runestad Award recognizes “years of extraordinary service
and commitment to providing quality choral music education” in Nebraska.

The award was presented to Ray during the Banquet for the
NCDA’s 2006 Summer Convention (July 9 – 12, 2006),
held at Doane College in Crete, Nebraska, on July 11th, 2006.

The NCDA’s JULY convention THEME was, "CHRISTMAS IN JULY"!
(Do NOT ask me why. LOL) So, that explains the occasional SANTA HATS
– and such – that you might see in the pix I took!

But! Before I go any further …

RAY & the ENTIRE Miller Fandamily
hereby express their PROFOUNDLY GRATEFUL
“THANK-YOUs”
to NCDA Past President, Dr. Roger MacNeill.
Roger was the person who THOUGHT of nominating Ray for this award!
Thus, ROGER is the person who deserves the “CREDIT” for Ray receiving it!
