Vanessa was born on the 9th August 1974 in Aldershot, Hampshire to Leslie and Janice Hammond.

She has 1 younger brother Craig.

Vanessa has moved around quite a bit, but always in and around the surrounding areas including Ash Vale, Farnham, and has now finally settled in Farnborough with Ian.

After leaving Heath End School in Farnham, Vanessa went to Guildford College of Technology to study her NNEB, and then went over to North Carolina, America for 6 months to be a Nanny. She then came back, had decided against working with children and so qualified as a Dental Surgery Assistant and stayed in that trade for 7 years. She now works in Customer Services for Thomson Local Directories in Farnborough.

Vanessa's main hobbies are Football, supporting both her beloved Woking and Chelsea, reading, and being with Ian!

Ian

Ian was born to Tom and Eileen Baldwin on the 2nd February 1966 in Dulwich, London.

When he was a year old, they moved out of London to Blackwater, Surrey where they lived for 10 years. They then moved about a mile down the road to Darby Green, where he lived for 18 years, before moving to Farnborough after buying a house with Vanessa in 1998.

After leaving Frogmore School, Ian went to Farnborough Technical College, and studied Engineering, he then joined the RAE (Royal Aircraft Establishment) in 1983 as an apprentice before leaving in 1992. He then took a year out, during which time he met Vanessa and decided he’d better get another job, so since April 1993, he has been working as a CNC Programmer/Operator for St Bernard's Composites in Farnborough Hants.

Ian's main hobbies are watching Chelsea when they can afford it, Classic and American Cars, and all extreme sports.
