7 PLAYERS; 1 PRIZE

Hello, and welcome to another exciting episode of Heisman Survivor. Seven of the best college football players have been stranded on an island with one goal in mind. The Heisman Trophy. You, as the tribal council, will decide who is kicked off, and who stays for a chance at the coveted prize. Each week, you will vote for the player you want kicked off of Heisman Island leaving the others to scrouge for stats and yards. Choose wisely.

Heisman Special

Saturday, December 3

8:00 p.m. EST

New York City, New York

Heisman Island Occupants

Drew Brees
Purdue

QB, Sr., 6-1, 200 lbs.
Austin, Texas
(Weslake)

Next/Last Game: W, 31-27 Ohio State

Huska's Take:
How 'bout them Boilers!! After wins over
Wisconsin and Ohio State, it looks as if Purdue is in the drivers
seat for Pasadena. A trip there would help Brees's chance for
Heisman consideration. Only one question remains for folks in
West Lafayette, "Can you wake up and smell the roses??"

Off The Island!

Josh Heupel
Oklahoma

QB, Sr., 6-2, 210 lbs.
Aberdeen, SD.
(Snow JC)

Next/Last Game: W, 31-14 Nebraska

Huska's Take:
Heupel and the high-octane Sooner offense
continue to use the Big 12 as their personal playground.
After desposing of the Big 12's best, it is clear this OU team
has to be the current favorite for #1. Only a trip to Kyle Field
and Kansas City can spoil these Sooners's hopes for hardware.

Off The Island!

LaDanian Tomlinson
Texas Christian

TB, Sr., 5-11, 217 lbs.
Waco, Texas
(University)

Next/Last Game: W, 37-0 Rice

Huska's Take:
Tomlinson and TCU continue to prance through
their cupcake schedule which comes in the form of the
WAC Conference. The Horned Frogs have a had a good
season, no doubt, but to be the best, you have to play
the best.

Off The Island!

Chris Weinke
Florida State

QB, Sr., 6-5, 240 lbs.
St. Paul, MN.
(Cretin-Derham)

Next/Last Game: W, 58-14 N.C. State

Huska's Take:
Chris Weinke and FSU continue to roll after their
loss to Miami. Chris and the Seminoles prove they do not
look past N.C. State the week before the Clemson game.
But with a Tiger loss earlier in the day, that takes the spunk
out of next week's game, and maybe Chis' Heisman hopes.

Off The Island!

The Ousted

Deuce McAllister
Ole Miss

TB, Sr., 6-1, 220 lbs.
Morton, Miss.
(Morton High)
Huska's Take:
The Council Has Spoken

Eric Crouch
Nebraska

QB, Jr., 6-1, 205 lbs.
Omaha, Nebraska
(Millard North)
Huska's Take:
The Council Has Spoken

Michael Vick
Virginia Tech

QB, So., 6-1, 214 lbs.
Newport News, Va.
(Warwick)
Huska's Take:
