The Schroeder Pulling team competed at the Nebraska State Championship Pull in September at their hometown of Leigh, NE. The team competed in division 3 classes 5000, 6000, and 6500. The day was finished with a win in the 5000 and a third place finish in the 6500. The old M, which now pulls in division 2, also made an appearance. After a sharp learning curve in the 5000 pound class it came back to win in both the 5500 and 6000 pound class state titles. The team has been following the NATPA circuit this winter attending pulls thus far at Ogallala NE and Wichita KS. They are pulling in the 5000, 5500, and 6000 pound division 3 classes. At Ogallala they finished first, fourth, and third in these classes resectively. At the Kansas Winternationals they finished fourth, second and seventh in these classes. These early performances have placed them third in points in the 5000 pound class and second in the 5500 pound class. They also attended pulls in Lincoln, Sterling, Kearney , and Columbia. At these pulls the obtained a total of six top five positions. Going into the Columbia pull they were in the points lead in the 5500 divison 3 class. A good pull the first day locked up the points title and secured their second title in two years. This capped off a great season on their second complete year of running for the points title.
