Monday-
Objective: Students quiz understanding of conflict
Method: students take written quiz over part II. When finish quiz begin reading Part III ch 1-2
Assesment: quiz scores will measure understanding
Assignment: part III ch 1-2
Standard:
Tuesday-
Objective: students will begin to draw conclusion to plot.
Method: discuss part III ch 1-2 and any similar occurrences in today’s society.
Assesment: students discussion will measure correlation b/t today and the novel.
Assignment: rest of novel
Standard:
Wednesday-
Objective: students draw conclusion to plot/conflict.
Method: students will have class time to read last part of novel – it is lengthy.
Assesment:
Assignment: novel must be finished Thursday and test Friday.

Thursday-
Objective: students will verbally explore resolution of conflict and aspects of “Big Brother is watching you.”
Method: discuss rest of novel and how some actions may apply to today’s society.
Assesment: students discussion will measure if read and understanding of Big Brother concept
