The Good And The Bad Faeries



Faeryland is made up of both good and faeries. Here are but a few of them.

GOBLINS: Goblins are a breed of small, swarthy, malicious beings- although 'goblin' as a term is of ten used as a general name for the uglier inhabititants of Faeryland. They sometimes appear in the shape of animals which appropriately reflects their bestial nature. They are thieves and villains of Faeryland, companions of the , especially on Halloween.



PIXIES: They are mischevious creatures. They delight in ing horses, which they ride wildly at night, twisting and knotting their manes to spur them on. Pixies often take foem of hedgehogs, known in dialect as urchins.



THE FACHAN: From the West Highlands of Scotland.



BOGLES: Bogles are generally evil-natured Goblins, although they are more disposed to do harm to liars and murderers.
