The Commemoration on 11 December
1999.
The raid on the Asser jail, which took place on 11 December 1944, was commemorated 55 years later with a silent procession. Flowers and wreaths were placed at the entrance of the Detention Centre. A reunion was organised for those who were involved in the raid and for loyal friends of the Foundation. In the afternoon a documentary was shown. The documentary is produced by Pia van der Molen of Pia Media in Hilversum. This documentary was also aired on TV. A copy of this video tape may be obtained from the Museum at Kloosterstraat 9.
