NEBRASKA CHAPTER OF ANTIQUE AIRPLANE ASSOCIATION

Ain't no better time than sittin' under a wing and catching up with friends

We had a great turn out for the August 27, 28, and 29th Fly In with nary a cloud in the sky. But wouldn't you know the wind had to blow. Once again the Nebraska Short Wingers came out in good numbers. Those attending included Rick and Nancy Jacobsen who took home the Best Mono Plane trophy, Steve and Shirley Shepherd, Dallas Worrell (family illness kept Lynette home - we missed you), Dave Roberts, Ron and Alice Jenssen, Gerald and Luellen Jahnke, Kay Luedke, Don Thies, Vern Sudbeck who took home the award for the oldest pilot flying into the airshow with that number added to the age of the plane, Bob and Carol Soukup, Jim and Janice Fix and Jack Weigert from the Oklahoma chapter.
