Sander de JongThere seem to be a lot of Sander de Jongs on the Internet. I am one of those Sanders from The Netherlands. BTW, "Sander" is my first name, and "De Jong" or "de Jong" my last name. "De Jong" is Dutch for: the young one.To distinguish myself from the others, here's some personal information: I'm 35 years old, I was born in Amsterdam, lived there for 5 years, moved with my parents to IJmuiden, only to move to Leeuwarden after a few months. There I lived with my parents and my two younger brothers till I was 23 years old. I attended the Stedelijk Gymnasium (school) from 1979 to 1984. I studied Computer Science at the State University of Groningen RuG from 1984 to 1989. From 1989 till 1999, I worked as a software engineer at the Dutch National Aerospace Laboratory NLR. I lived in Vollenhove, a village close to NLR. Per May 1, 1999, I've started to work in Groningen, for Logica, again as a software engineer. One week before that, I moved in with my girlfriend Frea. Currently I work at one of the KPN Telecom offices in Groningen.
My biggest hobbies are motorbikes and making web pages. I'm the webmaster of the John Kocinski fan page and of the Restaurant De Korenmolen web site. |
