Te Ta Te Tea
coffee or me I
asked Was
told Tea With
me. Simmering
pot Autumn
brown liquor Piping
hot Served
(by her) with vigour. The
fragrance of freshness And
early morning dew The
taste of nectar A
wholesome brew Flowery
orange peicko Or
Darjeeling gold Laced
with cinnamon Or
cloves behold Wafting
your senses And
invading your mind Dissipating
the early morning blues Let
despair lagging behind. It
sucks on my tongue And
caresses my teeth Swallows
my gullet And
tickles my feet Makes
love to my blood And
fondles my mind It
nibbles my palate And
orgasms divine. Oh
for a pot Of
this wholesome aphrodisiac Give
it all you’ve got For The
dissipating smoke At
the rim of the cup The
boiling water And
the bubbles unstuck Simmering
sound Of
hissing kettle Few
unbound Their
valiant mettle. Simply
I say Dash It
all Thank
you This
cup Says It
all. It
fills up Without And
empties Within This
relation of no Kith
and kin Words
fail Actions
deny Destiny
prevails Never our wails. For
Every
morn Cheers To us. ~Vikram C~
