Hi! I am Ujwal Rajkarnikar, a Nepali student at Minnesota State University, Mankato. I was born 24 years ago,in Kathmandu, the capital and living heritage of Nepal.

For those of you who don't recognize the name, Nepal is a landlocked country in the southern part of asia. It lies in between China and India. Nepal is well known for all those gorgeous and dazzling mountains in the himalayan range, including the highest peak in the world, Mt.Everest.

a brief academic history:

I spent ten wonderful years at St. Xavier's School and graduated in 1993. Then, I went to Amrit Science College for 11th and 12th grade, which is known as the intermediate level studies in our country. I finished my intermediate level studies in 1995. for further education, I left Kathmandu on Jan 1997 to continue my studies in the US.

Bellevue University, Nebraska was my first institution in the United States. I studied their for about 2 years. Then I transfered to Minnesota State University, Mankato and this is where I am now, pursuing a degree in Computer Information and Science. In the mean time, I am minoring in Mathematics. I hope to graduate by the Spring semester of 2001.

Well! Now let me tell you something about my interests. I am a keen follower of the game of cricket. I am an avid spectator and player of this beautiful game. The Pakistani squad is my favorite team and Wasim Akram is DA MAN as far as sports personnel go. Beside cricket I also do watch Soccer, Tennis, Basketball and Football. The Brazilian soccer team, LA Lakers,and the Nebraska Cornhuskers are some of my other favorite teams. as far as music goes..........
