Simple wish
An object in sight
Thought of in day
Dreamed in the night
Just out of reach
But hope is still found
You see the colors
You hear the sound
A wish so unfounded
Just not meant to be
So close, yet so far
You're unable to see
This wish, this dream
So easily killed
Becomes yet another
Wish unfulfilled.
