The Little Green Book of Poetry

By Kellen Headlee

Hello. This page is basically for Joe Kunze. It is a compilation of my poetry, written mainly in the last two years. Below are links to my poems, which I hope you enjoy.

Poem of the Week

This is a new feature I've just added. I hope to be able to put a different poem in this spot every week. It may be a new work, it may be an old work, but it will be different each week. I promise.

This week's poem: Come to me

Some girl I met once asked me to write her a poem. So, if you are out there, here it is:

The girl

Beauty becomes you

Questions

Behind the eyes

Stormy night

Do I wish, I do

The dark of ages past

Dreamers

The final visitor

Easy way out

Too much

Endgame

When I fell

Freedom

Where stars won't shine

Hiding place

Wish unfulfilled

I know I only...

Wondering

Many are friendly

You don't just forget

Recent Works

Since I created this page, I have written several other poems. I decided to add them to my collection, so here they are.

The dusty path

Mystery girl

Float away troubles

Looking back

Misguided

What you say

Blind emotion

Sunday visitor

Here it is! All New Poetry

As I have only recently regained the ability to add poetry to this page, I now have a large list of new works from the last couple of months. Click to view THE NEW POETRY.

Myself in Words

I wrote this exxay about myself once, and it sums me up pretty good, although it is a little outdated. I guess you could say this essay is a glimpse at what I once was. Click to view THE ESSAY.
