Dan's 1994-96 Imapala SS Site
Welcome to my 1994-96 Chevrolet Impala SS website. Here you will find links, pictures, a short history of the Impala, and a lot more stuff. The '94-'96 Impala is the best generation of all the Impalas, and it is derived from a Chevrolet Caprice. The basic engine is a 260 horsepower LT1 from a Chevrolet Corvette. This is a rare and special car because it was only in production for three years. You can modify a Caprice to make an Impala look-a-like, but it's just not the same. The Impala only comes in three colors, which makes it even more rare and special. These colors are Black, Dark Green-Gray, and Dark Cherry. Other features include special front grille, lowered suspension, five-spoke aluminum wheels, and leather seats. I first saw the 94-96 Impala in the showroom at a Chevrolet dealer in my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pa. in 1995, and I fell in love with it. It was a Dark Cherry Red one. I was practically drooling when I first saw it, and I asked a salesman to let me sit in it, but of course he denied me. Then he had to like kick me out of the showroom because I was in there for
about an hour and a half just looking at the beautiful machine. Now that I'm 16, I will be getting a job soon, and I want to start saving my money up to buy an Impala, but that may take a while. Hey, maybe I'll get one when I graduate as a gift (yeah right). So, that's my story on how much I love Impala's and a little bit about them.
